Exceptional watch. Affordable price.
This is an exceptional watch for the price. I was looking for something different and unique to wear. The vintage styling and color is a very nice look. I couldn't be more pleased. The band is far more comfortable than expected. 38mm size is perfect if you have a smaller wrist.

Very well done!
This watch is a very nice example of the 1963. It works as advertised and is nicely finished. The nato strap was surprisingly good but the movement is the star here. The finishing of the movement is great too. If you’re on the fence go ahead and pull the trigger. Shipping was way faster than advertised!!

Incredible watch for the price
I collect watches, and like to buy modern re-issues of antique watch designs, like the Tissot 1938 Heritage and the Seiko 1959 Alpinist. The Seagull 1963 is a classic design I've wanted for a long time, but had a hard time finding one that was true to the original, as several Chinese companies are making their own versions. This one is the best one.It arrived in about a week, and I have tested it for accuracy. It gains three seconds per day. That is extremely good for a mechanical watch. My Swiss-made 1938 Tissot Heritage, which costs $850, is a COSC Certified Chronometer. That means is gains no more than 6 seconds per day, and is the benchmark for the most accurate Swiss watches. The Tissot gains 2.5 seconds per day; meaning the Seagull that costs me less than $200 is pretty much equal in accuracy to an $850 Swiss-made Certified Chronometer. Another comparison to a more expensive big-name watch: my $750 Seiko 1959 Alpinist gains 7 seconds per day.The watch just looks cool, too; and the 38mm case is great for guys like me who have skinny wrists. Most modern watches are just too big and look bad on a small wrist.
