This mop is very good if you have a large expanse of floor to wash. This has it downside – it requires an equally large bucket! It gives an effective clean – giving close contact with the floor surface (unlike loose mops). The squeeze mechanism is easy to use – it bends the 2 sides of the mop head together to squeeze out the water. It can be used wet or damp (for laminate floors).

The concept of this floor wiper works better than the reality.For starters, it's probably better to pair this with Leifheit's bucket. I used the one I already had for my existing floor wiper and it's slightly awkward to fit in. However, the length of the wiper plus its shape does mean you get great, even coverage of the floor with your strokes (something that's more inconsistent when you use a mop).However, the key selling point of this wiper, namely the press mechanism, annoyed me - it's stiff, and this stiffness doesn't get better with continued use. So it's basically impossible for people with arthritis or other weakness/pain issues in their hands to use. I do not have either of these issues, but still had to do a lot of awkward holding and shoulder tensing to get the necessary power to close and open the wiper. Also, when you open the wiper back up, it seems to be impossible to do so with a smooth motion, so you WILL end up flinging drops of water everywhere.The pad is pretty easy to remove and re-attach, and washes well. Ultimately, I will continue to use this wiper, but not with any great enthusiasm - there must be better ones out there.

Brilliant! Never thought I'd rate a mop but so good. Gets to the edges. Quick drying floor. Pad just as new out of the washing machine.

I have to say after my initial glowing review this item has now broken. I might add after not too much use. The design at first does appear brilliant but there is a fundamental flaw in that the push down wringer hinges on a ridiculous self-tapping screw that screws into the metal pole, which, as one might expect pretty soon starts, to more space for itself. Then the wringer cannot be dropped or retracted. Very, very poor.

Nachdem ich für den kleineren "Vorgänger" (habe habe den über 25 Jahre mit bestem Erfolg benutzt) keinen Wischbezug bekommen konnte, habe ich den größeren gekauft: schneller und mit besserer Wischkraft. Wie der Vorgänger: einfach zu bedienen!

was na 4 weken gebruik gebroken, gebruikt om lange gladde gangen en kamers schoon te maken, gebroken op het wringpunt garantie was voorbij dus weggegooid

J'ai acheté ce balai laveur car j'avais le même avec des scratch et ceux ci à force était parti. Il est telement pratique que j'ai commander le même. Pas besoin de se baisser car le système essorer la mop, cette nouvelle version est même mieux car elle n'utilise plus de scratch mais des petits picots qui s'aggripent à la mop.Je suis très satisfaite de mon achat !
