Loved the book.

I like everything :simple ,realistic,affordable,cute projects(although there is nothing revolutionary new to be discovered in this book)

Not my cup of tea. However, I know someone who might really enjoy the enclosed vintage patterns.

I have only made the slip so far in this book. However, I have made 3 because the pattern was so good.Really easy to make and they look awesome 👌I look forward to making the PJs next!

Das Buch ist schön gemacht, Schnittmuster übersichtlich, aber die ausgewählten Modelle sind wirklich nur für Fans der 40er Jahre. Ich hatte auf mehr Schnitte in Bereich Nachtwäsche gehofft, aber es gab statt dessen Schmuckrollen, Lampenbezüge und Kissenhüllen. Mmmmh, für Leute mit Special Intrest sicher sehr empfehlenswert. Für Leute, die nach Schnittmustern für Schlafanzüge und nachthemden suchen, nicht so sehr.

What a beautiful book - such lovely photography and delicate line drawings. It's quite substantial too with generous paper patterns in the envelope at the back. The patterns range from beginner to more experienced but the instructions are very detailed and well thought out. There are great technique chapters too - sewing vintage lingerie is an ideal way to learn embroidery and lace embellishment skills, although some lovely fabric will often be just perfect. This is one of the best sewing books I've bought in a long time.

If you never stitch a seam this book is wonderful viewing but if you indulge in making one of these floating ,seductive, wisps of delight you will not be disappointed with the outcome!

A beautiful book with lovely images and you get a pattern sheet to trace for all the projects. Brilliant value.
