So easy to thin for beautifully smooth cookies!
I was very pleased with the Wilton Ready-to-Use Royal Icing! I used it on a batch of sugar cookies and wanted a simple, smooth finish rather than doing a lot of detailed piping. I thinned the royal icing with just a little water, dipped the tops of my cookies directly into the icing and then let the excess drip off. It worked beautifully! The icing went on smoothly, took the food coloring well and gave me exactly the soft, pretty finish I was hoping for. This saved me the extra step of making royal icing from scratch, and I really liked being able to adjust the consistency myself depending on what I was doing. After seeing how these cookies turned out, this is something I can definitely see myself using regularly. Now I just wish Wilton sold it in a much bigger container!

Great product, terrible packing
Do not order these from Amazon. The product is great. Unfortunately, the packing is haphazardly done and the plastic container cracks every time. Very frustrating.

Good flavor and consistency
I wasn't paying attention when ordering and thought that I was ordering meringue powder so I was perplexed at how heavy it was and confused after opening by what I was looking at because I usually like to make my own royal icing to flavor it as I prefer but I went ahead and used this and was surprised that it actually tastes pretty good and sets nicely. It takes alot of mixing to ensure that it isn't lumpy as you're using coloring and changing the consistency but overall I was happy with it.

Will order again
Great product and easy to use. If you need it a bit thinner just add a few drops of water. I mixed some food coloring in and it blended well with the white icing. Will definitely order again, tastes good too.

Very small amount of Royal icing, not worth the money paid
Convenient royal icing but, it's very little in the jar. Once I thinned it out, I added a touch of vanilla flavor to boost the taste.

Stiff consistency
The royal icing needs to be deleted with small amounts of water to get the consistency you want and it works great. I needed to flood the icing on cookies so I just diluted it with small small amounts of water to get to the flood consistency and it worked great.

Royal icing seal broken
Seel is broken. Going to use this after2weeks.But this saying have to use withing 14days after opening.
