This little machine helps out so much. Easy to use and read. Lights up and identifies the real strip and face of money and government documents. Only down fall is the old school plug to keep it on and working. I would perfect a wireless option but it works well, made well, light weight.

I have been wanting to get a bill scanner for years now, and i found the right one. So far it has been very accurate and fast responding as well. And for the price it is well worth the investment. And surprisingly its very easy to transport around with no issues. What would make this bill detector the best if it were battery operated. Great buy for the price and investment.

I have an older Dri Mark detector that has both UV and white lights, and I thought this did as well. It does not. This only does UV scanning for the security stripe on US currency. It does not show watermarks, which require the white light. The Dri Mark also included a pen that tests for proper paper type. The two units cost about the same price.This is nice in that it is rechargeable, the light only goes on when it senses a bill in the bed, and it easily shows the entire face of the currency. For quick verification of the stripe, this is a great tool. It just does not have the ability to do more comprehensive checks for counterfeit currency.

Handy item to have if you take in cash on a regular basis, such as a convenience store, etc.I gave it 4 stars because I couldn't find any information about what it does when it detects a fake bill. It's not mentioned on the product page and it's not mentioned in the pamphlet that comes with it.I tried it with a bill from my wallet and it didn't react to it at all. Again, that's not mentioned in the product information.But it has a small foot print - just a little larger than US paper money.

This gives me peace of mind when I am collecting money at craft fairs. I put the cash in and the light will come on, it shows the security strip in the bills. Easy to use, holds a charge for the day, and doesn't take up much space. I prefer this over using the pen.

I like this for looking at money, it helps me know if it's counterfit or legit. It's fast, easy and easy to set up. Makes like good.

This was perfect for the front cash register which made life easier for the cashier to check on fake bills. Much faster than a pen and very lightweight and small that doesn’t take too much counter top space. Easy to check and quick on/off button.
