Naaaaaaasty smell, but works!
I have been on ambien for YEARS. All the horrible stories you may have heard about ambien are true. You sleep eat like crazy, I have bought tons of stuff on the internet that I didn't remember....even when it was delivered. I have made countless phone calls, and driven to the store to buy smokes....and I quit smoking. One night, I decided it was time to quit....cold turkey. I have tried weaning myself many times, and it has never worked. When I quit, I was mixing all sorts of crap....benadryl, melatonin, Zzzzzuil and still only getting maybe 3 hours of sleep at the most. I am not supposed to take melatonin because I have Lupus, but I felt I had no other choice. I have been taking this valerian for 3 days. I have taken nothing else. The last 3 days I have totally slept! I wake up feeling refreshed. I feel more alert. Now, this stuff is way nasty to taste and smell. I've tried adding the 2 droppers to a full glass of juice....totally did not work. I still stunk and tasted awful. I find what's best is to add the 2 droppers to about 1/2 cup of cold water out of the fridge. I just slam it, then grab another glass of water (different cup) to just drink. For me, it takes a couple of hours and I can not keep my eyes open. I will for sure be a repeat buyer. This stuff works!

Good stuff!
I was really just wanting the wild lettuce to use in place of ibuprofen or aspirin when I have a light headache which is pretty rare. I saw this with the valerian root and decided to try it and I have been very happy with it. I have used it once for a simple headache and it worked pretty effectively and I have used it a few times at bedtime when feeling I couldn't sleep well and I slept like a baby! It's not like a sleeping pill that knocks you out because you can take it during the day and stay awake fine, but it kept me asleep though the night and I felt well rested in the morning.

Valerian Nerve Formula-Good Stuff!
I love this stuff! I have nerve issues from a collapsed disc and sleeping is tough. I take this about 20 min before bed and it helps me relax and get to sleep. I have found that natural remedies don't work very long and some nights I end up taking a second dose. When using during the day it seems to last about 2 hours. I don't find that it makes me tired during the day, although I'm sure with some people the Valerian can make you too tired to do certain things like drive. I've seen a video on making Wild Lettuce pain reliever from plants (what are mistaken as weeds) easily found in the yard. This will be one of my next experiments. In the mean time I take this as needed.

Love it, but the taste.
I love this product and am actually on my second bottle. Really helps me for my back and sciatic pain some nights. Does knock my butt out if I take the 2 dropper dose as recommended, so I take it at night. But if I have to take it in the morning to get me going, I will only do one dropper. I get goosebumps after every time I take it, but to me it is worth it.

Didn't work for me, but taste mix suggestion included.
I was on the hunt for pain killers WITHOUT sedative effects. Most of the reviews spoke of how well they slept. I can't sleep at work and thus no interest in the sleep quality it delivers. I tried it for pain management, anyway, as sedative things often don't cause sedation for me. Well, it smelled and tasted horribly of rank alcohol and didn't do anything for even mild pain management, other than give me that an alcoholic burn on its way down.Regarding the taste I brainstormed this "shot" mixture. I needed a portal solution for convenient workplace dosing, particularly with the taste. This was the workable recipe I ended up with:- 1 dropper of tincture- 1/2 oz. water (dilute)- 1/2 oz. real unsweet aloe juice (eases burn)- 1/2 teaspoon ascorbic acid powder (vit C)- couple drops of lemon juice (cuts the taste)Fits in one small Gerber baby food jar.Makes 2 "shot" servings; each "shot" is roughly 1/2 oz. Shake first. Best when fresh made; taste strengthens with time.WORD OF CAUTION:* DO NOT USE METAL LIDS *I do not have suggestions for metal lid corrosion problem, but I did find using wax sheet as contact/protective barrier failed. LOL

Love It
Here is my little review. 1- Does relieved nerve pain and gives us more energy.2- Not sure how, but improves breathing, COPD, Asthma, etc.3- Gives us energy, not going to try this to sleep.4- Taste like a cheap whiskey, better off putting it in a shot glass and throwing it back. You dont take much of it at a time.5- I take Aleve and Tylenol for pain and this does 100% better and less harmful to kidney's and liver.6- Ordered 2 more bottles, works great for pain relief, joint pain, nerve pain, etc.
