Lovely sturdy kettle. Easy to use, and lid fits well. Interior needs a good clean before use.

Good value, I keep it on top of my wood burner. Slight signs of rust though hence 4 stars

I recently purchased a 2.5L whistling kettle, and unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. The most disappointing aspect is the whistle, which is barely audible. This significantly undermines the convenience factor, as I have to constantly check if the water is boiling instead of being alerted from another room.Moreover, the base of the kettle is not thick enough, leading to rapid cooling of the water. This means I have to reheat the water sooner than expected, which is both time-consuming and energy-inefficient. The thin base also raises concerns about the durability and long-term performance of the kettle.On the positive side, the kettle has a sleek design and the handle remains cool to the touch, ensuring safe handling. It pours without any spills, which is a small consolation given its other flaws. Despite these minor positives, the primary functions of a whistling kettle are compromised.In summary, the low volume of the whistle and the thin base make this kettle a less than ideal choice for those who need a reliable and efficient kitchen appliance. I would not recommend this product unless these issues are addressed by the manufacturer.

It does exactly what it's supposed to.

Thin, very light, plastic already discoloured after just a couple of months, paint starting to chip.Might be ok for a caravan or something, but not up to daily use on the hob.Seems i'll be replacing this in a few more weeks.
