Instant Cooling Towel

Keeping cool on the golf course.

I work in a hot kitchen and this towel does help me to stay cool. I dip it in cold water and ring the water out. It holds me 5 to 6 hours a day

Perfect cooling towel! Very well constructed, feels like a nice fabric and most importantly it works! I followed the instructions and soaked it under a faucet, wring it out and the shake it open in the air. It feels ice cold to the neck on a hot summer day. I really do mean ice cold too! I repositioned and shook it out every 20-30 minutes and it cooled back down. It kept me noticeably cooler while walking out in the Florida sun. These towels aren't magic, it's just basic evaporation, but they have been designed and manufactured to work very well. It's also lightweight and easy to throw in a pack. I won't go out without it anymore.

I've recently started using this lightweight cooling towel during my stationary bike workouts, and it's been a great find. I had to replenish water very often, I would like a little longer

This is thin cloth with an appearance much like some gym / workout clothes with the solid knit back and kind of small dot air holes on the outer surface. The rectangle is about 30 x 12 inches, a sufficient length for draping around the neck. The reflective accent is the name logo. Any cloth when wet will provide evaporative cooling. This is light weight and the manufacturer claims anti-microbrial. It is nicely finished on the edges. The manufacturer cautions to machine wash on gentle cycle and line dry - not machine dry.

These work & would come in handy if your body runs hot, or if you just need a cool refresher! I don't know the science behind it, but I definitely went in skeptical, and left in awe! I wet the towel with super cold tap water as well as burning hot tap water, and both yielded a cool to touch result! Both ways get the job done! The towel works extremely well on my face, neck & torso. The cool can lasts for hours depending on room/outside temperature. It would benefit you to use while exercising, or on a hot day, etc. And this could possibly help people during heat waves. But probably for a few minutes at a time. All you have to do is re-wet, wave in the air or in front of a fan, and the cool lasts for hours! Genius product, though not necessarily a new idea. As for washing, I suggest hand wash or gentle cycle only. As well as laying flat to dry/draping over something/hanging/cool air dryer cycle only, etc... Overall, can't really complain. I am pleased that this little towel packs such a big punch! It's very thin though, but not a dealbreaker. Added: I tried this in really hot weather, and it didn't hold up as good as I thought, but "Cool Factor" also has a thicker towel-chill pad that lasts for more hours if needed.
