Primers always seemed like yet another layer to clog my pores and make me look overly made up. I'm in my 50s and have extraordinarily good skin for my age because of years using Retin-A for acne, combined with the fact that my skin is just oily in general.But as I've gotten older my pores are more noticeable, and there is still a tiny bit of visible discoloration from old acne scars. Because of a lifelong paranoia about products breaking me out, I subscribed to the less is more philosophy with what I put on my skin. As a result I approached testing this with some apprehension, since I do wear a tinted sunblock over top of preparatory products like serums and skin care. But I was pretty shocked at how perfecting these products are, and they don't pull up under other products I apply afterwards. There's a reason this brand is a liter in this space, and this is a great entry level kit for people to discover their products. The sizing is generous for the price, and it makes a lovely little gift .

I had wanted to try Tatcha skincare for a long time, so I was glad to see this trio set.I’ve heard a lot about the lip mask, and to be honest, I don’t know what the big deal is. It works, but so do many other lip masks. When I tried this lip mask, I was really sick with a very bad cold or flu. My constant nose-blowing and being sick made my lips very dry. I started using this lip mask at night, and when I woke up, my lips were not feeling dry at all, so I do think this is a very good lip mask. It comes in a little jar, and I apply it with my fingertip. There’s no scent that I can detect.The Liquid Silk Canvas is excellent. Basically, this is a makeup primer, so I apply it before putting my foundation on. It glides on very smoothly, and I can see my skin immediately look smoother. My makeup goes on smoothly and definitely minimizes pores. The part that I notice the most is around my eyes, where I tend to have the most small wrinkles. I have to pay attention when I apply eyeliner to the top of my eyes, as it doesn’t usually glide across smoothly. However, with the Silk Canvas, I could draw my eyeliner across very smoothly. Definitely a 5 for this. Overall, my makeup looks softer and smoother.The Dewy Skin Mist is something I use to refresh my makeup. I really like the result. It’s not a glowy mist; it’s dewy, like it says. It basically makes my skin look softer. I don’t know why, but that’s how it looks to me.This is a fun kit to try, especially if you are someone who wears foundation.

This set is amazing it comes with the full size priming primer, a travel size msit and a travel size lip butter. This is the perfect combo to have a flawless look on the go. The quality of this products are so amazing and the price is not bad cause you are getting 2 travel size products and one full size. This set also comes with a silk cloth to wrap your bento box it the nice tatcha color.

The gift set comes wrapped in a beautiful, reusable furoshiki cloth with directions for how to use it to wrap a gift. Each of the products included in the set does a great job preparing my face and lips for my make-up routine. I begin by priming my face with the Liquid Silk Canvas and then set it with the Dewy Skin Mist. Finally, I moisturize my lips with the Kissu Lip Mask. The Liquid Silk primer makes my face feel smooth for applying my foundation and blush. The skin mist feels refreshing when applied and gives my skin a dewy appearance. The lip mask keeps my lips feeling hydrated for hours. The Tatcha trio makes a great gift!

The set had a stylish packaging and reusable. The moisturizer/liquid silk canvas felt light and silky but absorbs and dries quickly. The mini skin mister did not find did much for my skin but did feel calming even though it dried very quickly. The jelly lip mask is a bit small and is difficult to scoop out with your finger, I would suggest having an applicator to get the most out of it. The product had no scent even though it has peach extract in it. It does apply as a jelly but melts and feels like an oil. It was hydrating but nothing special as far as i can tell.

I’ve loved Tatcha as a brand for quite some time. They have a lovely range of products, but they’re also on the pricier side.This set includes a full sized liquid canvas primer. Plus, you get a smaller size of their lip mask and facial mist. I’m not a primer girlie, but I really like this one. I’ve used their canvas primer that feels like a putty. I used to use it, but I stopped because it wasn’t that great for dry skin.

The lip mask is very thick but doesn’t feel greasy and keeps my lips feeling hydrated for hours. The Liquid Silk primer really makes my skin smooth and pore free for applying my foundation and concealer. I love how fresh and glowy my skin looks when I use it. The gift set also includes a beautiful furoshiki cloth plus instructions on how to use it to wrap a box. If you know someone who loves skincare and you really want to impress them, this would make an amazing gift!
