Like another reviewer, I was a little apprehensive to buy this with no reviews. Shipping took a long time, maybe 2 weeks, but it arrived in good shape, with all of the pieces. There are a lot of parts to put together, but the instructions are easy to follow. I used my own tools, but cheaper tools are included. Overall, it seems like good quality for the price, the design is stylish, the assembled bed is sturdy, and the shelves and outlet built into the headboard are useful. I put the light strip on the back of the headboard, so I could light up the wall instead. This is a guest bedroom, but we slept there one night, and the frame was sturdy, with no obvious squeaks. The gas shocks used to lift the Matt have plenty of force to lift the Casper memory foam mattress I put on the bed. This has added a lot of valuable storage in a tiny bedroom that is almost too small for a queen size bed. Make sure to plan some time for assembly, and take your time putting it together. I’ve assembled a lot of things in my life, but I suspect even an amateur could put this together. Don’t be intimidated by the amount of parts and hardware. You will use it all up. They also provide one spare for each piece of hardware , which is a nice touch.

Beware this is a big bed and comes in one box! It weighs about 125lbs and you could tell the delivery driver struggled to carry it because it looked like it had been dragged. The box was destroyed and the wood was damaged on multiple boards. Too bad you can’t do pick up at Amazon. The frame itself is very sturdy but the fake wood is exactly what you would think. It’s particle board with a canal wood textured wrap and there were quite a few imperfections. I guess you get what you pay for!

The double sided tape on the led light strip was a problem, nearly pealed the wrong side.

Was scared to buy this product as it had no reviews, was afraid the quality wouldn't be great for the price, and had a 2 and a half week delivery time. ALL OF MY ANXIETIES WERE FOR NOT. Great quality, and the delivery time ended up being about 5 days I think! It did take an afternoon to complete it but I just used it as bonding time with the wife. Would recommend this frame!

I just assembled it by myself. It has not collapsed.
