Works well, won't work with Kindle Fire though
I had hoped to be able to use this on my Kindle Fire, but no such luck. My Kindle Fire is an older gen 10, 8 inch so maybe it would be different with a newer Kindle. I wanted to be able to connect another mini SD card or flash drive to transfer files. When I plug in the hub I get an error message there is water in my Kindle port. I don't have any problems when I use the hub in other devices such as my phone or laptop. I only wish it was USB 3.1 or 3.2. I have not tried out the charging power port though so can't comment on that. I mainly wanted it to transfer files from a variety of cards and flash drives. Overall, I don't have any complaints about the hub and I can use it with my other devices just be aware it might not work for a Kindle Fire.

Versatile adapter
I upgraded my desktop Mac, and the new machine does not have USB-A ports. This device works perfectly to adapt my old thumb drives, headphones and a couple of other external devices that have USB-A cables.

Does not work with Samsung Galaxy A Tablet SM-T290
This is a sturdy, well-made port hub but nothing I do can get it to recognise my Samsung Tablet A SM-T290, and yes, I know my tablet has a micro USB connection but I bought an adaptor for it in order to use this hub and still nothing. Will keep it in case I can use with my android phone.

Works great!
Great little USB/etc hub. I have a laptop with only one USB-C port and zero USB-A ports. This solves the problem of connecting the laptop to an external monitor (HDMI), a mouse, and an external hard drive, and there's room for more. Haven't notices any delays or lagging.

All 3 USB A ports stopped working suddenly after just a few weeks
This thing is now completely useless and unfortunately I didn't open it right after purchase so I'm outside the returns window despite only using it for a few weeks.
