BrinnoMAC200 Wire-Free Portable Motion Activated Camera (Black)

The camera works with time lapse as it is supposed to. My complaint is that it is supposed to record at HD (720) and it is not up to the standard I am used to for a 720 recording. Looks more like a wide screen 480. It also flickers several times when it is going from day to night or back. I suppose this is when it is doing what ever it does to change from night vision to day vision.It says that it will only use up to a 32 gig card, but I have tried a 64 and it seems to work. Of course the card has to be reformatted to Fat 32.

greens look purple, I suppose due to the low light performance trade offs, but then again it wont work in total darkness. generous 3 star review here. better off with a $60 game cam for most folks with good night performance and if time lapse is your thing look to other Brinno products than this. built well with amazing battery life.

Eats batteries

very hard to setup. I am not sure if it is recording or not? a couple times i thought it was and had nothing on the memory chip.

Complicated setup menu. Takes 2 "D" cell batteries; should use no larger than AA. First two only lasted 3 weeks and says they should last 14 months. Didn't work when I needed it to. Am buying a different brand replacement - don't waste your money. Very disappointed.

Great camera. very versatile and works in low light (not total darkness). easy to setup and use. time lapse photography covers a lot of time without a ridiculous amount of storage.

Pretty neat does exactly as described. No complaints so far. Great for time laps movies. :-) the motion dection so far is working as promised. Will update if anything changes.
