Nice set of faraday bags in a variety of useful sizes
Particularly with all the publicity around the extra solar activity these last few weeks, my mind has been a little more focused on protecting our most valuable electronic devices, especially those we don't use all the time and those we keep as a backup. So it was timely that these Faraday bags popped up in my recommendations when they did!I've ordered a few other Faraday bags in the past, and these seem fairly comparable overall in terms of quality and effectiveness. However, these KIPHCA bags have my other ones beat when it comes to sizing, because these seem to be more thoughtfully sized. Some of the other Faraday bag sets I've encountered in the past seem to size their bags randomly on a whim, but these seem to be designed to fit a range of standard devices without a lot of extraneous, unusable space left over.I'm not a tech whiz or security expert, but I ran a few simple tests to see how effectively they block cellular, WiFi, and Bluetooth signals, and these bags passed every test. (To test them, I powered on my primary iPhone, placed it in one of the bags, sealed the bag, then tried to call it, text it, email it from my secondary Android phone and connect to it with a Bluetooth headset. Not only did the text and email not arrive until the iPhone was removed from the bag, but the call never transmitted and a missed call was never even registered. None of my Bluetooth devices could find the phone while it was sealed in the bag either.) I'm not sure how well the bags would stand up against an EMP, but the fact that they effectively block other signals leads me to believe that my devices are safer inside the bags than outside. I suppose I should be more paranoid than I am about data theft when traveling/out in public, so maybe I'll start keeping my key fob, wallet, and phone in one of these when I'm out and about. At the very least, my laptop isn't leaving the house without going in one of these sleeves first! As other reviewers have noted, the Velcro closure is not ideal, but it seems to be standard for Faraday bags apparently. I haven't encountered a Faraday bag that did NOT have some sort of hook-and-loop closure. I assume this is a feature that's designed not only to offer a secure closure, but to force the user to roll the top of the bag down in order to seal it and to ensure that it's completely closed, with no unintended gaps that wayward signals could penetrate. The reason the Velcro is not ideal from a user perspective is because it does take a little time and effort to close/seal the bag and to open again, particularly as the Velcro on these bags seems to be extra "grippy," so you really need to give it some elbow grease to rip the Velcro apart. It's also a little on the noisy side, so if you try to remove a device from the bag in some sort of public space (library, cafe, office, classroom), the noise is bound to attract attention. While I don't necessarily love the Velcro, I accept it as a necessary evil and the price I pay for security.A few other reviewers have mentioned that the bags have an unpleasant smell to them, but I can't say that I've noticed the same thing. I tend to be VERY sensitive to smell, particularly when it comes to vinyl fumes and off-gassing โ and for what it's worth, the bags I received seem to be absolutely odorless. I haven't noticed any smell emanating from them at all, no matter how close I get to them.BOTTOM LINE: In terms of effectiveness, these Faraday bags stack up to any others that I've encountered/used, although these bags come in much more useful sizes. If you're at all concerned about data privacy or protecting your devices in the unlikely event of an EMP, these bags help provide a little peace of mind. Even if you're NOT concerned about either of those things, these sleeves help protect your devices and offer a better way to store them when not in use or when traveling, shielding them from scrapes, scratches, dents, etc. And for the price point, you really can't go wrong! Highly recommended!

Nice Faraday bags butโฆ
I ordered these for the large bag mainly, so I could use it for my laptop in the event of a disaster here on the coast. I ordered them because they claimed to be waterproof. These would protect against splashes of water but would not be watertight if submerged, due to lack of a ziplock. As plain Faraday bags, these bags are top quality and though I have not tested them I would imagine these would do just fine for that purpose.

Super Happy that it Works ๐!!! But, quality isn't the greatest...
It Works which is Super Nice ๐ ๐I have been looking faraday gave for years but never found someone that I was happy with,so I never got one yet. (I know, I know.. shoulda played cked one up anyways), well I finally got an Affordable Set of Faraday bags...Now, I still have the problem with the fact it only folds over once and Velcro's.. but I knew that upon ordering the set. It still makes me uneasy...But, I have tested it and it works, atleast to an extent it works. Now, I love the size of the (larger bag) Laptop bag, it can actually hold two laptops in it which I like!(The picture shows: laptop, tablet, call phone and small portable charger.. all can fit inside it!)The Small one is great for a cellphone, it will probably be used this weekend or something.... Maybe! (Someone is supposed to come for a week and if they do, they don't want to be bothered.. vacation from everyone basically.. so, this would be perfect for the week! It would prevent anyone from contacting them and the important two people are supposed to have my number so yeah! Perfect! ๐)*** Now, this set is a nice Affordable Set of 4 Faraday Bays, which has a Velcro Closure... Note: The Velcro is abit annoying to open a& close and can be difficult at times, because you don't want it pulling at itself and ruining....In this set, each one has a little medal ring, which is supposed to be functional and king of works for the smallest one .. you can attach a lanyard to it and have it close by! (Around neck, hanging from something, etc.)If you are looking for a Nice Affordable Faraday Cage/Bag, for Cellphone & Laptop... Portable DVD Player, Radio, Walkie-talkies, Portable Power Banks, Small Rechargeable Fan, Solar Lights, etc.. Well, this can help you! ***This is something that I am Glad, I Ordered!!!***If you are worried and want more protection, you can double it with Aluminum Foil for added Protection if you really want!!! (Note: I have, OCD and Obsess over if it is Protected enough, more Protection the Better in my Book... Lol!)Anyways, this would make a Great Addition to Anyone's Preps... Buy 2-3 Hand Crank Solar Power Radios with light and some Solar Lights and put them inside the larger one Incase the worst happens and you have nothing and have to flee your location and stuff. It would also be a nice gift for others too!!! ๐I think for $30 this is something you should consider buying, it works as intended and it honestly gives a piece of mind!!!!

Good mix of sizes
Sizes are thoughtful.Outside is a bit rubbery and inside is smooth. Reminds me of waterproof bags for kayaking.Wish the closing flap wasnโt just one fold to Velcro but something allowing multiple folds. Also, the metal ring is useless.

Easy to use, blocks effectively, and also provides fire and water protection
Whether you need a signal-blocking bag or a fireproof and waterproof storage, this set is a great option. This comes with four different bags, and the largest can hold multiple laptops. We ordered this because our safe isnโt rated for fire. While we will eventually get a new safe, this set will serve as a protector in the meanwhile. The signal blocking is pretty great โ not just Wi-Fi but also Bluetooth, RFID, etc. These are really simple to use. Just fold over once and use a Velcro. The bags effectively blocked signal according to the tests I ran.I would order this product again. Given the four different sizes, this is a good value.
