My son absolutely loves Axolotls so this diary seemed like the perfect gift…and yes, he loved it!!In the pack you receive the diary, a multicoloured pen, 2 sets of stickers and a lock and key.The quality isn’t too bad, the pages are fairly good quality paper and the pen works very well. The diary is covered in soft fur and has a glittery heart on the front filled with little sequins and various little shapes. The eyes and mouth are both stitched as well as its antennas at the side of its head.The pen has 6 different colours which you change by clicking down the relevant colour at the top. It also has a little Unicorn on the top which is very cute. Included are 2 sets of Unicorn stickers too!Inside the diary, you have a very basic layout which is the same on each page. It’s lined with a date headline in the top right corner.Also, there’s a lock which clips on the clasps at the side of the book allowing anyone to keep their words private from everyone else. A key is also supplied for the lock.Overall, my son has loved writing in this diary. He’s constantly writing things in it as well as drawing pictures and he said it’s so cosy and soft to hold.If your kids are fans of Axolotls or Unicorns, then they’ll love this diary set!

This couldn't be a better gift for a 6-9 year old. My daughter and her friends go through so many diaries with each one serving a different purpose.This product not only has the fluffy axolotl diary (my daughter just thought it was a cute heart fluffy with wings!) but also comes with a useful pen with different colours, stickers and a key to lock the diary. Each page has plenty of lines to write on although my daughter completely ignored the mood/weather tracker as she scribbled down her endless stories!

This Axolotl Diary is the perfect present for any young girl, as it comes with everything needed to journal or simply use as a fun version of a notebook. The set contains two different sticker sheets (for me one was blue and one was pink and both had unicorn designs), a multi-coloured pen with a unicorn charm on top and a lock and key to lock the diary. The Axolotl diary did seem random compared to the accessories, and a unicorn design would probably work better, but I don't think any young girl would actually mind about the cohesion of themes. The lock and key are of great quality, compared to cheaper ones that may be given with other sets. There is also a heart on the front, containing glitter that will move when shaken - a fun sensory addition.The inside of the notebook also has some fun features: There is a mood tracker and weather tracker, so perfect for anyone trying to keep a diary.I will say that I wouldn't recommend this for a child above 7-8 years, just because it feels as if it is targeted for younger years. Overall though, I would highly recommend!

This diary is very cute and fluffy and my 7 year old loves it and its soft and good quality as well it would make a nice gift.

The journal is covered with soft plush fur and the front cover has a cute axoloti (a type of salamander) stitched onto it, along with a large pink heart filled with glittery shapes (stars, shells, hearts, etc.) that move about when the journal is tilted or shaken. The pages of the journal are quite thin but the quality is reasonably good, the paper is lined, and at the top of each page there is a space for the date and some emojis for the writer to record their mood and the weather. Also included in the set are a unicorn pen with 6 different coloured inks – the pen writes very nicely and smoothly, a padlock and key (the key was not packed with the padlock, it was loose in the bag – take care not to lose it!), and two sheets of unicorn themed stickers. The recommended age for this set is 3+ years (the safety warning on the box is “Choking Hazard- Small parts. Not for children under 3 years.”.

Gave this as a gift to a 7 year old and weeks later I'm still being thanked for it! She liked the diary, but the thing she liked the most was the lock with a "real key". The key is a bit larger and thicker than the tiny ones that most others in this price range come with and it looks more like a grownup key. Great value! I'd buy again.

So much bigger than we thought we were getting. My 6 year old daughter saw a little backpack keychain one she wanted and I didn’t want to buy it then but as a reward she asked for it so we ordered this from Amazon and it’s not the small backpack size we thought we were getting. It’s regular notebook size which is great

This is a precious little diary, I got it for my little girl and she likes to run her hands over the fuzzy fur, unlock the lock, and draw or practice writing in it. It's well made, and would make an excellent gift. The addition of the pen and stickers is a nice touch any kid can enjoy.

Bought it multiple times as birthday present. Kids love it.
