Really like this mole

I really like this mole. You need to add some Mexican chocolate to really kick up the flavor, but the enchiladas I made with it were delicious.

There are two Mexican restaurants in my city that serve mole daily. One does it badly and one does it phenominally. But sometimes I just don't want to go out to eat, nor do I have the time to make a good mole from scratch. This stuff is legit. Yes, it takes some prep time (boil/puree tomatoes, add brown sugar, bay leaves and chicken stock, simmer 10 minutes). But the result is restaurant quality. Add some refried beans and shredded chicken to tortillas, roll up and bake for 20 minutes. Queso fresco or any Mexican cheese on top, onions and cilantro, and you have one lovely meal. I will buy this again. One jar makes enough for at least 12 decent sized enchiladas.

We liked this mole sauce almost as much as the MiMole brand. However, hubby is starting to avoid gluten and this, unfortunately, contains wheat (bread).

Simply awesome! My husband tried a mole at a restaurant recently and loved it. I looked up a few recipes ... mole from scratch is a LOT of work. This product makes it easy. My husband loved it!!

I don't see an expiration date on the bottle, and after a month or so on the shelf I opened it to a layer of mold on top, and throughout the jar. Smelled good though. Don't order too far in advance. I ordered both varieties offered by this producer and both had gone bad by the time I opened them.

Good flavor, can add spices to customize taste.

I though that jar was the ready-to-use mole, so I thought it was too expensive, BUT NO! It's concentrated mole with a recipe on the jar. So easy to make the final mole, and it's absolutely delicious.

very good Mole, easy to prepare. I'm definitely buy more again.
