Overall Impression:A great addition for weight reduction. I ordered a M and it does fit very securely, I'm getting the sweat I'd hoped for during my workout! I just love the way this is made- the middle insert covers the belly I want to lose and the middle part doesn't rise up or shift. I'd HIGHLY recommend this shape wear for a good sweat around the mid section and lower back.Fit:I can hook the 2nd row securely (like without suffocating myself or feeling uncomfortable). I can also hook part of the 1st row but midway down it's a stretch and starts to get too tight...so starting out with row 2. I'd say you may be pleasantly surprised that the fitI is true to size. I look forward to moving to the 1st row and possibly needing to order a size S in the future.Function:While exercising it does rise up (mostly in the back and a tad in the front) but you have to remember that's because of the shape of my figure currently, the extra weight- it's NOT a design issue- this is really well made.Care:I wash on the delicate cycle with no detergent and air dry.

(brand new, right out the packaging) I bought this vest to correct my posture as well as working out. As my very first waist trainer, I am super satisfied with my purchase. Here is why: material is sturdy, flexible and soft. So I will be able to use for the gym. Secondly, the hooks seem strong and the space between each level is far enough that I won't have to constantly purchase a new vest. Third, the sizing it correct. I am 5ft weigh180 lbs and bought a large. Fits perfect, doesn't restrict by breathing and is long enough to help below my belly button. Last, doesn't bunch in the back. Hides well under clothes beside the one line of clapps. If your wearing a tight shirt, it will show. Dislikes: First, light brand new smell, which some say chemical smell, but I hoping after a wash or two it will go away. You can't smell it, unless you smell it directly. Second, kind of rides up when I bend over. Hope this helps someone with there decision making. Will update in a month of use.

I did a 4 star based on the size but that was on my end not the products. Reviewing the comments about the size people where suggesting to measure your waist and go by the chart in the gallery which is true, I went by that. I am 5'5 around 185lbs to 190lbs (hate weighing myself) and my waist measured at 37 inches so based on the chart in the gallery i would be a large or extra large but me I rather be safe then sorry I went with an extra large. It fit perfectly like if I were wearing a tank top, slightly snugged but it was not tight the way I like my waist belt to be. I was already on the last row to button up and it was about a finger or two big on me, wasn't overly big to where I couldn't wear it. I have a short torso as well but I am pretty sure it will fit anyone with a long torso because it went about 2 or 2 and half inches over my waist. So with excitement I wore it to work out and I did a full body workout and I only were waist belts to workout in not to wear it daily. The plus side of this is it does make you sweat like crazy which I loved, very comfortable and flexible, stretchy and it did not roll up which was so great BUT I know with the slight bigness it was sliding up when I did squats or if I did over the head reaching but I am pretty sure if I got a large, with that tightness it will not happen. It still did not bother me, I just placed my other waist belt strap with the velcro on top to tighten it, to get that truly tight snugged feeling and it worked and it did not budge or slide up so I will be ordering a large. ALSO the other thing is that it sucks taking it off because your sweaty it sticks to you even with a tank top on but yet its still something that I can manage due to what I was looking for in a waist training vest is to sweat and that is what it does. So I cant wait to order a large and hope this helps out for someone else

The media could not be loaded.  I absolutely love it! It’s comfortable and easy to wear/ use. I wore it today all day at work and it’s amazing. Very comfortable and warm. Even better when working out. It helps suck everything in and makes you sweat. It fits perfect, just pay attention to measurements when you order. I ordered a size larger than I would if purchasing a Tshirt. Totally worth it. I will be buying another one a size smaller for when this one becomes to big. I love it that much. It helps with posture too and even gives your chest a nice lift. Very easy to put on and it’s high quality stitching.

I'm rating this product 3 stars because is to early to tell, I have only worn it 3x as of now. So far I have worn it to work (office), cleaning around the house and working out. It was comfortable enough to wear all day at work, but when I wore it while cleaning and working out I did notice rubbing and a little irritation in the armpit area (this may have to do with the slight looseness of the shoulder straps). I have seen a lot of reviews saying it runs small go up a size or 2 etc. I took a gamble against other reviews and ordered a medium. I am 5'6" 175, I wear a size 8-10 in jeans/pants (sometimes a 12 depending on brand, but I don't buy those lol) and a M-L in tops. It fits snug (not uncomfortable) as it should on the loosest hook option, in time it SHOULD continue to stay snug as I move in on the hooks. The length is good (average? length torso), no roll up issues and it seems to be put together well.
