Colorful and well made
My GGSon age 2 1/2 received this solar system set 2 weeks past. He is very fascinated by the Solar System. He has played with it everyday for long periods of time. It is well made and sturdy.

Superior quality
Great choice for kids who are "Space Enthusiasts"! These are well made: solid wood and painted (more in that a little later)--not plastic and not easily broken. IMPORTANT **Not for toddlers--choking hazard** The planets are painted, but the information cards do not match the coloration of the product. The cards can be laminated and kiddos can match the planet to the corresponding planet. Easy to use, nicely made, perfect size. Three sturdy and unbreakable astronauts also come with the product. The price point is a little hefty but worth it because of the quality. You'll end up paying more money, in the long-run, by purchasing a plastic set that needs to be replaced (speaking from experience). Suggestion for manufacturer: please also create the sun and the moon for this great set :)

Great little set to begin learning about the solar system
Simple, tactile way to play with solar system concepts. Pieces seem good quality. Love the little astronaut human figures too.

Beautiful quality, educational toy.
I LOVE this beautiful, wooden solar system learning set. It's attractively designed and has lots of educational value. The set comes with three wooden "puzzle pieces" that make the background of the solar system, starting with the sun. Only a sliver of the sun is shone, and you can point out how big the sun must be based on the sliver we can see. There are depressions on the base boards, each labeled with a planet's name so that the planets can be placed in order of their orbits. The planets are lovely too, colored correctly according to the color we see in photos. Jupiter even has the red storm spot and Saturn has rings. The planets are not precisely proportionate because that would make the set unsuitable for children, but they are geverally sized according to smallest, medium, and largest planets. Each planet also has an information card to learn about the planet's composition and interesting facts. To cap it all off, there are three astronaut figures for imaginative play. This set is a delight for play and for learning in my preschool class.

Planetas repetidos y colores incorrectos

Good Solar System Model Board
I recently ordered this solar system board. The package includes 3 wooden solar puzzle pieces, 8 wooden planets, 8 double-sided planet cards, and 3 astronauts. This set is sturdy and well-made. All the planets are easy to hold and use. They have a smooth finish. The double-sided card has a planet picture on one side and information about the planet on the other side. This is a good hands-on learning activity for preschoolers and up.

Your Kids Will Love This - and Learn Too
I really like this. I love toys that allow children to be creative, learn, and dream. This wood set does that. I love the little astronaut figures. They are so cute. I expect that most people who get this set keep the little figures out all the time.I also really like the cards that match each planet. This looks and feels like a game but these cards will intrigue little learners into finding out more about our solar system.OK. So why not 5 stars? The planet Earth that came in our set is missing half it’s continents. If they left the whole thing blank that would be fine, but you can’t paint on half the Earth and leave the other half blank.
