Echo Spot (newest gen), Smart alarm clock with vibrant sound + Alexa, Black

This is a nice unit. The screen is very clear and the sound is very good and clear. It installed very quickly and has some nice in use features that you can set up. The alexa side works very well as you would expect. It looks very good in its bedside position

This Amazon Echo Dot is an impressive piece of kit. Essentially a smart speaker but does so much more, just saying the 'wake' word Alexa and you can ask it to do almost anything. It is an absolute doddle to set up, from unpacking and turning on, I was all set up in two minutes. By default the device shows you the time, date and current weather in your area. But either by saying Alexa or using the Alexa mobile app you can set up the device to do other things, such as set alarms, create medication reminders or switch to Bluetooth mode and play music. The beauty of the device is its simplicity, it really is so easy to use. The sound quality on music playback is terrific, and Alexas voice when speaking to you is crisp and clear. Overall this is a great multifunctional device. Five stars.

Great Smart Clock, easy to set alarms and play music with voice control, great way to modernise your bedroom. 4 Stars because it has crashed once or twice when I first bought it however easy fix just turn it on and off and seems to be running fine now, music volume is ok and good enough for an alarm clock, will fill the room BUT lacks in quality on the higher end of the volume, however it is a small clock you can always link it with other Alexa devices.

Got this on a Black Friday sale. Excellent quality with great sound and bedside alarm. The small screen give just enough information of time, date , outside weather conditions and temperature. Screen dims during nighttime so Ideal beside the bed. Size is compact so doesn’t take up a lot of space on bedside table. Overall a great purchase

This echo spot has been a great little bedside clock. It comes with plenty of customisations for the clock face, and actively shows the temperature as well as the weather. Very easy to set up with the Amazon app and really easy to use, especially via voice control. The speaker is decent, I don’t expect much from something so small and it has little to no bass at all but it still sounds alright for playing music through. Blue looks fantastic, goes with anything round it so would recommend. Echo spot also feels pretty solid, can’t see this thing failing on me any time soon.

I was using an Alexa Show 8 as an alarm clock in my bedroom and to play music stations to be able to see what track is playing. The Alexa Show kept disturbing my sleep by showing sponsored advertising on its bright screen, and other stuff I don’t need to see in the early hours of the morning. I have been unable to stop it doing this. This Alexa Spot has a small screen that shows the time and weather clearly, and when I use it to play music the title of the track runs across the bottom of the screen in a bar. Ideal! Sound quality is good. Response time is reasonable. Works well for what I want.

Very happy with this. The clock display is a nice size and dims at night whilst the speaker sound is superb for its diminutive size. Was dead easy to set up and is simple to use.

She's really good. I loved the design with the screen because it's nice to see the weather and time or the music that's playing. I like Alexa's features, but after the GPT chat, it became a bit outdated hahaha. It's time for Amazon to merge it with AI to bring more search options. But anyway, I love the convenience of being able to ask my favorite music or podcast to play with enviable sound quality. The power of this speaker is incredible with a very pleasant sound. In terms of sound, it beats JBL hands down 😅

I do like this but unfortunately I sleep in a black room and noticeable light comes from it even at its lowest setting. So I can't use it. I was thinking maybe I could put black tint on it.
