I put this in my coworkers backpack. He didn't notice and then went on a two week vacation with out it. He finally heard it this past week. Drove him and his wife nuts. Unplugged appliances, moved furniture, about to ask the neighbors...in other words: works great!!!

I bought these to annoy people in my office and my wife :) They do create multiple random noises that you can cycle through. The cricket noises are all the same volume. The beeping noises can be chosen at different volume levels. The problem, other than short battery life others mentioned, is the delay between noises is WAY too long. Sometimes as much as 45 minutes. What fun is that? These should make noise about every 10 minutes or so it gets people's attention, but not quick enough to find it easily. I'm the same guy that buys a remote-controlled fart machine. That is way more fun because you control when it makes noise and can time it perfectly. Get that instaed.
