Camelbak Chute Mag Water Bottle Magnetic Cap

It's a nice sturdy plastic bottle that's easy to carry and refill and drink from. There's not really much else you can really say about it, truly. It's a decent capacity for day to day use, fits in most gym bottle holders and is portable and neutral enough to be carried pretty much anywhere. It has a few leak problems (I think it's more water getting stuck in the threading of the bottle than actual leak problems though) sometimes after refilling but those are minor, at least from my point of view, especially if you tighten it accordingly. I don't see the point of the magnetic function though, honestly. Most of the time it barely sticks to the lid to hold it out of the way, especially if you don't take the time to smooth it down so it is flush against the magnetic surface (that's just added effort I don't care for, really) and so if you don't take the time to do that and you just want to drink, the lid will end up bonking you on the nose while you chug. It's a minor gripe and not really an issue but I figured I'd mention it considering the magnetic stuff is apparently the major gimmick of this bottle. At least you won't lose the lid since it's permanently attached, eh? Altogether though it's a good bottle, hard wearing, heavy duty, thick lid that can be tightened nicely, and the cap is also very secure and not threaded but rather tightened into place which is very good, takes a little bit of getting used to initially but once you suss it it's good, you can achieve the same cap tightness / secureness from a regular threaded cap after some dudebro tightens it as hard as he can with barely any effort on your part with the cap on this bottle and it opens with just as little effort too. I like it, anyway.

Bought this when my old camelbak wore out (the plastic on the lid started oozing) after years. This is as good as the old one, the bottle holds enough water and the spout easy to drink from. This lid doesn't have the flimsy cable holding it on but clips to a magnet to keep it out of the way. This works well, though I have been carrying it away from my laptop to protect the hard drive! Goes in the dishwasher. Does not leak, though sometimes I get a bit of water caught under the thread.

I had a few of these since their first inception and I have not yet been disappointed. My last one had the old style cap retainer which finally broke one one side after years of use, so I decided to get a bigger version, 1ltr, for work (the old one is still in use ) I love the new MagSafe storage, it’s much easier than the old style of tether, and yes I’m sure there are those that will find something they don’t like. These bottles are really strong, I have never had one leak at all, as long as you close them properly! What’s not to like, they’re strong, leak proof, you get a choice of colours and sizes, they’re washable, constantly reusable so they reduce practice usage, they can be sterilised (unlike steel ) and it’s backed by Camelbaks warranty. Highly recommended from me, my whole family use them.

Good size and functionality, really like the screw lid opposed to the spring release type. It is leak proof, had no issues with that. I only use this for water and the plastic does not taint the flavour at all. Magnetic lid is really useful and worth paying the extra for. So far has been really hard wearing, i keep it in my toolbox all day and looks almost new still.

Nice bottle with a superb capacity and locking lid - it hasn’t leaked once. The design could be improved by tapering the size towards the base - whilst it’s great for stability, the large circumference means some cup holders are off limits!

OK, so the headline sounds a bit weird, but having gone through a few different bottles in the past, including the Camelbak Eddy and Podium, this is by far the best one I've had for everyday use at home, at work and in the gym. It's the little things that make the difference. Firstly, it is easy to clean. This is why I was looking to replace my Eddy, where the rubber bit was not easy. Then there are the little design features; the magnetic cap, which keeps it from falling into your face; the ergonomic spout, which feels just right when you drink. The size may not be for everyone; personally I like not having to fill up the bottle as often, but then it is bigger and heavier than the 750ml bottle. The measure of success for this bottle? I am trying to increase my water intake over the summer months; today I drank 4 litres of water, without even thinking about it...

I had been using Camelback 1 l the first type of water bottle for a couple of years. In general, that bottle was comfortable enough. But it had some feature which were a bit annoying. I have to say all those annoying feature on previous comeback chute bottle were fixed on Camelback Chute Mag. The cap is no longer wawing beside your nose. It's super easy to attach cap on the magnet. Also, there is no struggle to take off the full cap, or the smaller cap. The drinking neck feels good when you drink from it and the handle is no longer that narrow gap as in the Camelback Chute, where you could put just one your finger, which will be cut off by the handle. Camelback Chute Mag has a proper handle conveniently carry your bottle in the hand. Great improvements from Camelback. In my opinion Camelback Mag is on of the best water bottles for hiking in the market.

This is my second Chute bottle, only because I lost my first one! These are great, easy to clean, easy to drink from, and basically indestructible. I take mine everywhere with me, to the office, and when I play basketball. it gets thrown around a lot. Other than some scratches on the outside, it works great. I had my last one for 4+ years, and I'm sure this one will last just as long!

Para quem entende a importância de ter água em boa qualidade e sem vazamentos, essa garrafa é perfeita, ela chega a ser 'tecnica'. Situações de offroad, trilhas, deslocamentos com poucas paradas são exemplos. O plasti da tampa e corpo são de uma qualidade incrível, creio que vai durar anos. A tampa é de rosca e não deixa vazar nada, o item magnético pra prender ela é uma sacada interessante, mas não é um item que determine a compra. Compre pela qualidade e confiabilidade do produto.

Ho aquistato 2 CamelBak Chute Mag, una da 0.75l e l' altra da 1.0l. Sono soddisfattissimo di entrambi! Dopo essere in posesso di 2 "vecchi" CamelBak Chute da 0.75l era chiaro di voler ancora la CamelBak. Non hanno odori strani, neanche da nuovi e non assorbono strani odori dopo averli usati (quelli vecchi) per più di 2 anni. Posso solo raccomandarli al 100%

El botellín lo utilizo para beber agua en el trabajo. Al mes de uso apareció una pequeña grieta en la goma que sujeta el tapón. A los dos días de notificarlo me repusieron el bidón. Cumple al 100% mis expectativas.

Easy to use and to know how much water I drink. I use the bottle every day since I got it. I adding lemon juice and a bit if salt to the water. The color "Sea Glass" that I chose is not the same I got, it much more intense and much darker, more like turquoise, but I already got to like this color. Not only because the lid has magnet I like it, but also that it clicks nicely on the bottleneck, just covering it and stays in place, and I don't need to screw and unscrew it each time I use it. I only screw the lid when I'm on the go.

This is a fantastic bottle that anyone can carry with them! It has a decent capacity of water (1L) so you can stay hydrated. There is a little measurement near the top of the bottle to show if you reached one liter. The main feature about this bottle is the way you can just unscrew the bottle and put it the cap off to the side without it falling on your face or nose (Hence the name chute "mag". It's very convienent and the magnet within the side of the bottle and the cap is very strong. Drinking from it is a breeze, there's a little indentation for your mouth for comfort and the hole to drink from will be just right for many people. I can't give you all a good update on mold, but previous bottles I had before would always mold and smell from the top of the cover, and I would always have to trash them before I got sick. Doesn't seem like it will happen with this bottle since it's a screw-on. I've had this bottle for two weeks now and I plan on keeping it for a long time during those long days at school and throughout college!
