The color was lighter than I wanted, not like a midnight. So I applied a dark eye shadow on top of the pencil and that worked perfectly! It stayed in place and did not need to be reapplied with the eye shadow on top. Alone, the pencil was not enough if you are looking for a dark black.

I was really excited to find my favorite eye shadow pencil on amazon, since they were no longer available in stores. And I ordered 4 of them. They were delivered quickly, and that was great. BUT, when I opened the first one, it appears to be so old that it won't glide onto my eyes at all. They appear to be past their expiration date and are so old and dry they are useless. No color goes onto my eye lids at all. So, between $20 and $30 dollars down the drain for the 4 of these I ordered.

Why is it that when you find something awesome they either make it hard to find or do away with it all together? That's the case with this eye pencil. So here I am buying it on Amazon. Hey guys, I love this product. So how about making it easier to find?

All the local drug stores quit carrying this. I use it as an eye liner daily. I love the color and how soft it is. So I bought several! I apply once in teh morning and it is still on when I wash my face before bed. I do wish it was cruelty free.

I wish Cover Girl didn’t discontinue this item. I use the for upper lid eyeliner. It is so smooth there is no tugging on the eyelids and makes a nice solid line.

Dry. Like a desert. Barely could get any liner onto my lid, nevermind it gliding at all. Arrived quickly and into the trash even more quickly.

I like this eye lining pencil. It goes on smooth and lasts through the day. Washes off easily at night too.
