This set of light switches were ordered to replace the typical standard switches in my 70’s house from cream to white. They appear to be just like all the other decorator style switches I’ve been putting everywhere except the added bonus of being shipped directly to my front door. I’m not an electrician so I can’t say to the quality of these vs any other switch, but they seem to be just like all the others.Of course, the operation takes a bit to get used to when converting from the small switch to the rocker style. This newer style takes a lot less effort to switch on/off. Even though I’ve been replacing one at a time for a few years now, I’m often turning on the light for a split second before accidentally shutting them off. I’ve just accepted that as an effect of this style. However, that’s not something I expected when converting.

They won't take 14ga wire

I ordered this 10-pack of #JUNLIT single pole decorator wall switches to replace the builder grade old style light switches. Swapping out the switches is easy but if you're not comfortable working with electricity, call and electrician to do the work. These have a nice white finish and a soft, but firm click when turned on and off. These are single pole and will not work where two switches control one light. These are a good quality switch at an affordable price.

I needed a single pole (one-way) switch. As it turned out a 3-way switch was less expensive than a simple one-way switch, so why not use it instead?
