had 2 that don't work, giving up
Poor quality. First one I had to send back because it was too damaged/poorly manufactured to put up with (glass was scratched and had black flecks in glass casting), the second one also had black sooty flecks in the glass shade from manufacturing process. Fitted the second one but it only works sometimes, you have to poke the lightbulb/holder to get it to come on again and then it will work for a day or so and then go off again. Bulb is in tight as it will go, takes a screw bulb.Don't waste your money on this, buy one from John Lewis at least you know it will be worth the cost of an electrician to fit.The glass light shade screws off the metal rim but you can also pry it off with a screwdriver.

A very good product, just right for my little bathroom
Exactly as described and photographed. Just what I wanted for my very small bathroom, on a sloping ceiling. Easily fitted and looks lovely. Has been in place for a few months now and all looking and working as good as when first put up.I took a long time deciding which light to go for, and think I chose right. I am very happy with it and at a good price too.

Very nice light
Nice looking light. Especially for the money.Easy to fit.Would say that for my bathroom (1800mm D X 2300mm W X 2600 H) it needs a clear 60 watt bulb....which I am yet to locate.....the current 40 watt opaque is not really cutting it.
