Concern Regarding Installation Charges and Customer Experience
I would like to share my genuine concern regarding the overall installation process for my newly purchased Elica chimney. After purchasing a premium chimney from a reputed brand like Elica, I expected the installation process to be simple, transparent, and customer-friendly. However, the experience has been quite disappointing and stressful. After the purchase, customers are required to pay multiple additional charges, including installation charges, ducting charges, and travelling charges. By the time the installation process is completed, the customer ends up paying a substantial amount over and above the product price. This creates a feeling that the actual cost of owning the chimney is much higher than what was communicated at the time of purchase. What has caused further concern is the lack of clarity and consistency regarding these charges. Different information was provided by Amazon, customer care, and the service technician, making it difficult for me to understand the actual charges applicable to my installation. In addition, my installation address is located within the jurisdiction of Pen Municipal Council, yet travelling charges are being proposed. I respectfully request Elica to clarify the basis for these charges and provide the relevant policy in writing. As a customer, I am not merely concerned about the amount being charged; I am concerned about transparency, fairness, and the overall customer experience. Purchasing a chimney should not become a source of confusion and repeated follow-ups for the customer. I have chosen Elica because of its reputation and quality. Therefore, I request the management to review this matter and ensure that customers receive clear information regarding all installation-related charges before purchase and installation.
