GUNSMITH RUN BACK
Great manga especially if you love guns but is fun even if you don't. Some people are "upset" about Minnie May but this an adult. Unfortunately situations like here's happen in real life. It doesn't hurt the manga at all to me. Just makes me want to see her happy.

Pretty fire read, but there are some viewer discretions to be advised
After watching the OVA from 1995, I've always wanted to see what the manga is like, as the OVA is a completely unique story that isn't part of the manga. I'm about half way through the manga its its overall pretty fire, but as another reviewer stated, Minnie May does have some disturbing character elements that is not for the light hearted. But besides that, this Gunsmith Cats is a pretty solid and intense read.As for the physical book, it was arrived with a all corners slightly dented, but overall nothing wrong, still all legible.

Gunsmith Cats
Classic series, great to have back in print, in a collection format. Some of these reviews though... either outright wrong, or overly sensitive. Rally isn't a black woman - her father is indian and her mother is English (White). This is literally explained in the story. Yes, Minnie May does have a colorful backstory, but this is a seinen manga, targeted toward adult men. Don't expect some modern rainbow infested, Western comic series for Reddit bugmen to soyface over.

Definitely a product of it's time...
...not to say it's bad, of course. It's a solid and entertaining read. Well drawn, interesting characters and dialogue. The action is vibrant and intense. Just be aware of some *very* suggestive content.

I loved everything about this manga, except for Minnie May
If you're familiar with City Hunter or Detective/Police series, then you'll probably like most of Gunsmith Cats. It's a got a bad ass black woman as the main character (an extreme rarity in manga and anime) and interesting cases/bounty hunts. I generally enjoyed most of what this manga had to offer. So you might wonder, if I liked it so much, why did I give a 2-star review. Well, that's because Minnie May (one of the main character) is an ex-child prostitute who really enjoys having sex and is proud of it. The manga only tells you this information and doesn't show any of it, but it made me very uncomfortable. And considering some of the situations she gets into, it's just really messed up if you think about it. Also, Minnie May has a "boyfriend" who's in his thirties and they first started "dating" when she was 13-years-old! You've been warned.
