What I've been looking for, for so long
These are the best slippers. I don't like the fluffy slippers with lots of decorations. I also wanted a soft sole so I don't clunk around. I believe in the whole indoor/outdoor slipper thing these days - shoes for outside, slippers for inside. I'm just a straight up, plain, but durable and comfortable slipper girl. I've tried Acorn, Hafflinger, and a million others, but I've finally found what I've been looking for in the Glerups and I'll never go back. They are true to size always - I'm always a Ero 37, and that's what I got - perfect. They're warm without making my feet sweat. The shoe style is great if your worried about them slipping off your feet, although I will try the mules for ease of getting them off and on quickly.

Best slippers ever
So far, so good! These are crazy comfortable, super light weight, and very quiet. I live on the upper floor, so I try not to stomp around too much. Other slippers bother me because they clunk with every foot step. The height on these bothers my ankle a bit, but it was easy to stretch the fabric away from my bone. I just stretch it in to shape whenever it bothers me. I've given a 4 star rating for that reason.I'm really excited to try these out when it's -25F outside, thus making it a comfortable -10 inside. So far, so good. I have reynaud's, so having cold feet is just my normal existence, but I've had warm feet since buying these. From someone who loathes socks and finds any excuse to be barefoot, I look forward to wearing these every day.**Edit**Over a year later and daily use, these are holding up so well. They're perfect! Fun fact for you Reynaud's folk: make sure your feet are warm before putting these on, then they'll stay warm.

Winter not the best season for these
After about two years of wearing these:--winter seems not the best season for wearing these. My toes are still cold, and I have to wear socks. Autumn/spring I can wear sockless, and oddly in summer they keep my feet nice and cool.--I wear 44s and those have stretched into comfy/loose-ish slippers. But my right slipper is not as sturdy as the left. The stitching has come loose on the right toe, and the wool felt is tearing a hole there, and the felt is wearing a hole above the fifth metatarsal on the right side. The slipper isn't tight, so I'm not sure what's going on.So I'd guess the right slipper will last me another 6 months, so $95 divided by 2.5 years averages to about $38/year for okay slippers. Two point five stars I guess.

So warm and comfy!
I bought these slipped for my husband. He had recently bought a pair locally, and loved them so much. He is always cold, especially his feet, and these are so warm and cosy. He has quite narrow feet so it's important to get the right fit for him. Since he already had a pair, I knew these would fit him properly. I suspect they conform to anyone's feet over time, though, so I don't think they are necessarily only for folks with narrow feet. I bought him a second pair specifically for traveling since we like to have house shoes that aren't contaminated from other environments. I was surprised when he told me that the brown ones were slightly different from those he had already as I was oblivious and thought they were the identical style. He actually prefers these as their sides and back are slightly higher and thus, warmer! Yay for me! There are other felted wool slippers that cost less, but I knew these were high quality, and I knew they would fit. Perfect!

Minimalist Sophistication
Pricey, simplistic slipper. You get exactly what you see, They are comfortable. No itchiness that some wool products create. Some people have mentioned they have no arch support, which is true. The snugness of the slipper does provide a bit of support. I have veryr high arches that require support; these slippers are acceptable for morning and evening wear. They have a minimalist sophistication with quality construction. I never leave them alone on the floor. My dog has a true fascination for them.

These feel like "rejects" compared to the pair I own.
I sent these shoes back. Was looking forward to having a second pair, since I had a pair in the same size and, what I thought was, the same style. But the pair I received didn't fit anything like the pair I bought at my local shoe store. They were too tight and too short. Plus they sat higher on the ankle at just the point where the felt rubbed uncomfortably when I walked, so I could not have worn them even if they had fit. They felt like "rejects" to me. Certainly not worth $95.00. Too bad, because I practically live in the pair I own.

Once you go Glerups, you don't go back...
This is my second pair of Glerups and I can't imagine not having a pair or two around in the future. If you live in a cooler climate or climate with cold seasons these cannot be beat...For years I layered and wore through tons of house-socks in an effort to keep my feet toasty. I was initially hesitant to try these due to the price, but now I cannot recommend them enough. Glerups are astoundingly effective at keeping my feet warm while being both flexible and durable enough that I feel I can curl up on the couch in them or run outside to grab the mail or do light gardening. The first thing I do when come home from work is exchange my running or work shoes for my Glerups and my feet thank me...They are also incredibly durable; I only bought a second pair on Amazon because the first I purchased at a local shoe store were actually a size too small and after a year of daily wear my pinky toe wore a hole into the wool upper.

Glerups !
Oh so comfortable slippers made from a thick felt with a sheepskin sole, neatly and robustly stitched together. Perfect fit and easy to walk in, though I would say definitely for indoor use or dry days on the patio, as they get slippy in wet conditions. Just the thing for relaxing your feet on a cold winters evening !

Warm and comfy, takes an insole
A wanted a pair of slippers that were comfy and warm but which were also big enough to take an orthopaedic insole (I use a Superfeet green insole, for those in the know). I was a bit worried there wouldn't be enough space in these, but there is, and they fit fine with the insole in.Delightfully comfortable and also very quiet when walking around the house - useful when our little boy has gone to bed!

Excellent product. Bought the first pair in Denmark when they were not available in the UK. They last so well and are extremely comfortable slippers. Highly recommend these.

Very comfortable ... but
... pill at the back of the ankle when worn without socks, which is how you're supposed to wear them. Christmas gift with three months use so far.

Wonderfully comfortable, great fit.
Wonderful slippers. At last, a pair that fit around the back and don’t flap about. Really nice fit around the whole foot, lovely thick fabric, with an amazingly comfy sole. They appear to be nicely stitched and look like they’ll last well. Only had them a week but love them so far and plan to buy these for ever.

Foot heaven!
Foot heaven - ridiculously expensive, but nothing else like it on the market, as its a shoe with a back, so doesn't flop when you walk. I am now walking around the house on our hard tile floors as quietly as a mouse and have a much happier husband! Great whether you wear them with bare feet or socks.

Comfortable, feel like good quality despite the stripped back design.
Great slippers. Very comfortable and haven't lost their shape after a number of months of use. The leather base is surprisingly durable. I would recommend them.

Perfection
These are the best slippers ever and also my second pair. I would be lost without them. They are comfortable, warm, stylish and, best of all, take months to get smelly. Even then they wash well in a washing machine, a cool wash and a net bag. Perfect.
