TONE Plug Socket Set PG86S 3/8" Inch Drive 14mm 4-Piece

Works as advertised.. Made changing the plugs in my 2021 subaru outback 2.4 turbo a breeze

I used this and a 17mm ratcheting wrench. Removed the battery and air cleaner in my 2016 Forester with the 2.5 engine. Took me about 1.5 hours to do the spark plug change. Even factoring in the cost of this socket set it saved me $400 compared to what the dealer wanted to charge. Bought another set as a gift for a fellow Subaru owner.

Very high quality tool. I also pirchased the competitor’s socket (Koken 3300cz); Koken is also excellent Japanese quality. The Tone socket is slightly shorter (about 4mm) but the plug sits higher in the socket (on Tone). This means the set up set up is slightly taller when using the equivalent size extensions (however equivalent Koken sockets jave the ability to wobble. Space being the final determinant, I will/would use the 2” koken wobble extension with the Tone Knuckle and the Koken socket though either set up will work. Tone make Quality tools from Japan. This is a speciality tool for Subarus. This tools works great to remove Subaru spark plugs and a must if You own a BRZ.
