Yes, advertised and it’s marvelous.My make up suffers when I get too close to the heat of an oven, in this makes it easy to use the stick to reach in and pull the rack out instead of my hand with a pot holder.I used one for years, but when I moved, that was the end of that for some reason. Time to get another! And this is a quality kitchen tool.

My wife thinks I’m ridiculous for buying this but I use it all the time when I’m using our oven. Anything that makes me faster and safer in the kitchen is worthwhile. It’s cheap so why not have it?

I have an oven rack push/pull tool that my husband snatched for use with his air-fryer, so I bought this one to replace it for me to use. It is well made & seems to be very sturdy. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants an easy way to avoid burns from hot oven racks.

You can always tell when someone is a seasoned baker by the number of times they have been burned by accidentally touching the rack in a hot oven. I just can't imagine using an oven without having a push-pull stick nearby to pull or push a hot oven rack. Trying to remove an item from a hot oven just using a pair of hot pads carries its own problems. The corner of the hot pad "smooshes" down into the food item being removed. If this is hot grease or water, the hot pad becomes wet and burns through to your hand anyway. It's a natural reaction to drop the hot item when that happens. It's really a must for anyone who uses their oven.
