As a whole this series was quite amazing. There were a lot of twist, turns, lies to uncover, and shocking reveals. It made me laugh, gave me goosebumps, had some great revenge, unexpected love, and some twists that will make you shocked. I loved how it ended. A lot happens and you just have to sit back and enjoy the ride.🌶️Spice wise: this is thriller romance. It is not dark romance, and while there is spice, it’s not overly explicit or abundant. It was added in as part of the story and never took away from the plot. It just kind of adds to the love story that’s there. I think people that enjoy shows like Dexter and Criminal Minds will enjoy this book. This book was amazing!! I could not put it down. Romance, suspense, mystery, and thriller all in one!! The story line and plot are completely top notch and the twists I never saw coming. Lana is a villian you will LOVE not hate!!

I love the books. They are an actual masterpiece. They're definitely challenging and so dark to read but the story gives and gives and then suddenly everything explodes into this whirlwind of motion and you just can't stop reading. I absolutely loved it, start to finish

People you’ve known your whole life can be completely different than they seem.There are also side characters, like Logan and Hadley, who have amazing storylines that I was deeply invested in. Even though their arcs didn't go extremely deep, I appreciated the sense of completeness I got from their stories.It's a shame that S.T. Abby is no longer with us. She had a brilliant mind, and the world feels a little darker without her. Rest in peace, S.T. Abby, Kristy Cunningham, and C.M. Owens. You are deeply missed.

Not even close to what I expect but in all the best ways. MFC thinks she doomed for only revenge until she meets the MMC then things get complicated and it gets you completely sucked into the book needing know more. And just when you think you finally figured it all out, you haven’t and you’re going to be left questioning what you read till you get to the very end. Lovely story, very sad this author has passed.

This is the complete series which is 5 books in one book. If it wasn’t labeled that way I would have zero clue this wasn’t just one effortlessly flowing book!I absolutely loved Lana. She is a alpha female lead character. She is a survivor. Not only do I love her but I love her band of people. Hadley is by far the bestest. Do not let me forget about the sexy Mr Bennett. Lord help us!! I loved that FBI crew. Amazing.This was way more than I expected. This book just kept developing and bringing me in farther and farther. I am devastated that this author has passed. I enjoyed her funny books and now I am hooked on her dark side. I didn’t realize I needed a book like this in my life. I am definitely in a book hangover. It’s so hard to finish a book like that and not be able to start one on a similar caliber.This is a great book. Be aware of triggers because some parts are hard on the soul let alone the stomach. The book was written perfectly. I wish I could go back and read it all again.

My all time favorite book I’ve read ! & the book came in good condition

It’s violent, it’s heavy, but it’s also weirdly romantic?Only reason it’s not a full 5 stars: a few rushed moments and some suspension of disbelief needed. But honestly? Totally worth it.If you're into dark romance and morally gray characters, this one’s a must-read.
