This watch is my second Burei watch, and also here … I was very surprised about the quality which seems to be underpriced. The feeling is very comfortable on the wrist and the used clockwork Miyota is running very smoothly. If the watch is stopping, it needs just some quick moves and the Miyota is starting to tick immediately. I was not expecting this and I have other automatic watches, where more moves are needed until the watch starts.Possible for some interests ... if you have to adjust the time, the seconds are still running, but I think this is linked with the used Miyota and should is not an big issue for me.The watch itself doesn't feel like a cheap watch with the usual "cheap metal strap sound", I'm very confidential, that this watch is running for many years. The metal strap is comfortable, to close like a butterfly with a click and secured by the separate closure. I cannot check, if the glass is sapphire as mentioned in the description, but there is no reflection on it, which I experience on watches with mineral glass. The date magnifier is sitting exactly and I was very surprised about that. Because the magnifier are glued on the glass (same for the Rolex), and this has to be done in the right way. Burei is met the expectations. Good job.The silver dial with the stones is really a perfect combination. Overall, for the price you will receive a nice looking and working watch.

I love the value of this beautifully designed watch. In a time when everyone/every buisness is trying to make the most profit without considering how expensive it is just to live day to day. We need more like this buisness. That truly takes pride in there work and wants everyone to enjoy. Compassion is what this world needs more of, and I can say this company has compassion for all. Providing a gorgeous watch like this at a affordable price. This will open many doors for the ones that cant afford a 1000$ plus watch. Attitude is everything.. And possibly just a watch like this and a affordable suit. Can give that boost of confidence one might lack due to "life".. To all those that can relate to this review. This watch is extraordinary. As others said, the photos do not do it justice. It feels substantial, weighty and is very masculine. I have not worn a watch in over 35 years. I am the type who has six pairs of the same pants, wears only solid colors so I can dress in the dark, buys multiple pairs of the same shoe. I don't have to make daily decisions about what to wear; that simply doesn't appeal to me. I saw this watch and suddenly knew I had found something I would actually wear. I could not be happier. Buy it and enjoy.

Overall, a nice watch and rather shiny. It seems to wear larger than a standard 42mm watch - all dial!The movement is the NH36 = Seiko 4R36 - a very reliable and easily serviced assembly.Two minor issues with this particular watch: there is no half-link or equivalent adjustment, so it is either too tight or relatively loose on my wrist; and the solid(!) end links are loose between the lugs, so it rattles around when given a shake - I had thought that the rotor was loose within the movement! This can be remedied with the use of a nice black leather band.Within the first hour of having the watch, I checked the accuracy of the movement: between +7 and +19 seconds per day - dependent upon orientation. This is easily regulated and will be brought down to an averaged +5 seconds per day.

Great looking watch, even better than the pictures and keeps time!

I purchased this watch as a gift for my husband. I really don't have a lot of experience shopping for watches so it was overwhelming, but I'm glad I chose this one. It is self-winding, which, if you're like me, you need to understand that it keeps time perfectly as you wear the watch and move around throughout the day. However, if you remove the watch, say for the weekend for example, you will have to reset it on Monday. I had no idea what self-winding meant, but now I do. That said, it is a very nice looking time piece and the quality seems very good for this price point.

The face and band are small. It looks like it should be for a woman. The look and build is outstanding though.

The media could not be loaded. I recieved this watch for Christmas. I love it! I prefer a larger face watch, so I go with a man's watch for the look I want. I went with the classic style silver with a dark face and it is perfect! I purchased a rocker ($45 on Amazon) for it since I don't wear it every day and want to preserve the longevity of the watch. It is an expensive looking watch for the price you pay. This time piece is a great investment and fantastic value for the money.
