I bought this for my little foster puppies. I like to use puppy pads while we are still house training, but sometimes they aren't sturdy enough on their own. This is a real game changer. It has a little lip around it to contain everything. It also provides a little traction so it helps to keep the pad from sliding around. It's made of a food grade silicone do you can simply toss it in the dishwasher or hose it off ti clean it.

I have two small dogs and this tray works perfectly for them. easy to change sheets, no mess. Also, the size is good for large dogs such as Labradors. Be sure to use sheets of the right size to avoid cleaning inside the holder.

This potty pad holder is ok. It should have clips or something to hold the pads in. I will be using it for my new litter coming up. I just came across some pads that have sticky corners so I think this will be perfect for those! otherwise the pads slide around and my 5 month old picked a pad up off of it and took off with it.

I like the idea of this. It's a little big for my little dog. But the last time I got one of these I got one that was too small. So bigger is better.The dog doesn't quite get it, so I still have to paper the kitchen. He's a small senior who has lost some of his house training.The one real problem I had with it is that it's an odd size for pee pads. The big pee pads are too big and the small/regular size ones are too small. So it's a little tricky.I really like the idea. And if I'm overlapping two small pee pads, if he gets pee off the pads, then it's contained in the pad holder and that's a very good thing.I just wish the dog would take to it a little better but he's decided he's a free range pee-er! He's also a big circler so it's a three to four minute walkabout all through the kitchen before he decides to pee. He's lucky he is cute.I still think this is a good item. With my other dogs I had a raised platform which I found hard to work around in a small kitchen. This you can step on and not hurt it. Even if you step on the lip, you can feel it but it pops right up again.If you are training your puppy or new to you dog, I'd say this is a good way to do it. But at 17.5 years, I'm not going to try to train him. He mostly sleeps.

Reviewing the 27"X27" Silicone Pee Pad Holder for Dogs with 1" raised edge in light grey. I have 3 chihuahuas who are all piddle pad trained. I use both washable and disposable pads. Sometimes with the disposable pads, we have had a little issue with the back end of the dog being close to the edge of the pad making the urine go off-pad and under the pad creating a bit of a mess. Sometimes the disposable pads also shift and move on the tile floor when they get the zoomies - not an issue for potty time, I just would prefer the matt stay in its place. When I saw this product I thought this could be a problem solver and indeed it is! Both the washable and disposable pads fit, even with the little hang over, the dogs can tell where the raised edge is and this is helping them make sure they are completely on the pad when they go, avoiding any more mistakes. It's like they can feel the cushion of this silicone pad underneath so it acts as a little mental reminder to coach them to get up fully on it before pottying. The pad holder itself is thin and waterproof. It would easily fold for travel. Love that it's an extra protection for the floor and easily cleanable with a hose or in the utility sink. I don't know why I didn't think to get a pad holder like this a lot sooner. So happy I found it.

This pee pad holder for dogs (or any other pets) is simple yet completely functional. It is made from a flexible silicon. It is bendable but quite thick and sturdy on the bottom layer. The edge is higher than most similar products; so, this gives the advantage of allowing for a training pad to fit (and even be secured to it if you need it to). We use the Kirkland Extra-Large Multipurpose Absorbent Pads from Costco as a liner. Those are perfect for it this particular pee pad holder -- with a little overlap (so they can be attached, folded or even cut to fit). So far, our puppy immediately began using these without a problem! Even if the pee pad failed, this is completely waterproof. So, it would only require a gentle wash to clean. These are also perfect for other pets (like guinea pigs).
