I love this device, mainly because I have family that will FaceTime me, and I always have to carry around my phone or keep moving it in different positions in the kitchen while doing various things. This follows me, and I can get things done much more accessible while still talking to the family. I realize others are probably using it to make videos for social media, but I’m using it strictly to speak to family and friends on FaceTime. This is very easy to set up and use. The instructions explain how to operate it. This Face Tracking Tripod is as advertised, well-made, and works well. The PRICE is in the usual range.

This is a review for Auto Face Tracking Phone Holder, 360° Rotation Face Body Phone Tripod Smart Shooting Camera Mount with Rechargeable Remote and Light for Live Vlog Streaming Video, Rechargeable (Gray). I had been wanting to do some videoing but I would be the only one to operate things so I would either have to limit my movement to stay in frame or find a device like this one. This holder was easy to get set up. Once I got that done, I decided to put it through its paces. It tracks quite well as long as the lighting is good. It is smooth and I didn’t see any noticeable jitter in either the horizontal or vertical. It is a great device when you’re on a budget and will definitely achieve what you want it to do.

I really wanted to like this product but unfortunately the tracking was less than optimum. After operating for five minutes, it refused to rotate in any direction but to the left. The unit must be mounted at a height very close to your face level to obtain proper tracking. I also bought a unit that is incorporated into the tripod along with this unit from Amazon, and that is working flawlessly, though it is more expensive than this unit, but it did include the selfie stick and tripod.

Even though other versions of this include a detachable remote and this one doesn't, I really like this because it easily handles with iPhone 14 Pro Max. I can easily rotate my phone from portrait to landscape. I can also remove the phone with the upper bracket attached, open the back and instantly have a simple stand. There is one flaw, however, that keeps me from giving it 5-stars. That is, you cannot tilt your phone. You can rotate it, but just cannot angle it up or down. That's not really a problem if you intend to mount this on a tripod where you can adjust the height of the tripod. But sitting on a table, it's going to be an issue. It's an essential device to have if you are recording a video. But even for simple conversations this is great when you are moving about (say preparing a meal in the kitchen) and want to stay in the frame. One little tip to pass on, there is a threaded ring on top of the device where the upper bracket attaches. You will want to screw that ring down to have it out of the way when you attach the bracket. Once you have the bracket sufficiently threaded down and facing forward, then thread that lose ring up to secure the bracket.

Cheap and unusable. I threw it away!
