Perfect fit. High quality socks. Massively comfortable. Stays up as it goes over the calf and is made very well. Feels amazing. Really. This is from a Paratrooper of the Cold War who walked around the world in crummy military issued gear. Socks were the most important tool in our walking chest along with boots. Great socks can improve mediocre boots. I did not have these back then, I wish I had. I ordered a slew more of these after buying two different kinds of socks made by Thorlo. There are no better out there for me. And they are made by the same guys in North Carolina that started the company. Feel good to wear on my feet and in my heart. Get some. Get many. Money very well spent...!

The best boot socks I've ever owned, hands down. I've tried Wrangler, Carhartt, Realtree, Hanes, Gold Toe, Woolrich and dozens other boots socks and they all slide down my legs, which requires pulling them up every 10 minutes. This is the first brand of sock that stays up. All day. They have plenty of padding on the bottom and at the toes (which helps if you have an ingrown toenail, for example). It is amazing how much good socks can make your feet ache less after a day on your feet. These socks are worth every penny. I've ordered 3 pairs in a matter of two weeks. Thank you Thorlos for doing a great job on socks.

I really like this brand. I bought my first Thorlos socks in the military and as rough as we were on ourselves and as many miles as we put on our feet, I needed them. That was a decade ago and I still have and wear about half of them. These Over the Calf style definitely go over the calf and up to your knee. Next time I will pay attention and get the shorter, boot height socks. I will happily keep them despite my ordering something taller than I thought. The brand makes great quality, durable and comfortable socks. I don't know what else to tell you without sounding like I have a fetish. These socks stay up without gripping too tight, they support the arch and cup the heel, provide incredible cushion without wearing down.

Not as thick as the "Thorlo Thick Padded Military Over the Calf Socks", but still too thick and way too tight in the calves. I do love how the padding feels on my toes and ankles when I'm walking without shoes though so if your boots are too big and you don't have athletic calves I would definitely try these. The padding should be great for preventing blisters.

These are your basic below-the-knee compression stockings for men. They appear to be well made of sturdy material. The toe seam is smooth and should not be of concern to persons with diabetic feet. Some reviewers have noted that the socks are difficult to put on. Well, folks, compression stockings ARE difficult to put on. If they were nice and loose, they wouldn't afford compression. Just get used to it, you'll figure out the best way to get them up over your calves. Persons with circulatory disorders or skin lesions on the lower legs should consult their health care provider before use.It remains to be seen how these will hold up over time. For the present, they appear to offer good value for money.

They stay put on your legs and feet and don't move around to cause annoying slippage in your shoes or boots. The cushioning is perfect for whether you're walking, working, dancing, or just hanging out. The compression is just right and very soothing and supportive on my legs. I'm 67 & LOVE these socks! I have been wearing this type of Thorlo for at least 20 years. My legs get the support they need. The socks are durable and comfortable. The spandex style goes over the calf for an effect similar to very expensive custom made socks made for poor circulation (Jobst).

Tight fitting on elastic bit. Cushioning like a regular thorlo I will take a looser fitting one next time

It’s okay... Pretty decent pair of socks; and would encourage anyone to consider. However definitely not the best in the market, if that’s what one’s looking for.
