I use this light to help maintain VLOS of my DJI Mini 4K. The drone is small and easily lost to view against most backgounds. This light helps solve this problem. It is very bright. I use the white light fast strobe. So far I've flown only about 1500' (my area has a lot of visual obstructions that prohibit flying too far without losing VLOS). But so far it has been great in situations that previously caused me to lose VLOS. This light definitely mitigates the problem. I do not worry about weight as I fly under Part 107 so I already have a RID module on the drone. As far as I can tell neither the RID module or the light has affected the handling, or the GPS or control connectivity. I will update after I fly further and under more challenging situations.

Haven’t put them on my drone yet but tested them out and I like how you can change the setting to different color and speeds. They are super bright LED lights that can most likely be seen from hundreds of feet away. They are also rechargeable and come with a charging cable. I bought two but you can prolly get away by just installing one due to its brightness that will nearly blind you if you stare at the strobing light.

These strobes work great don’t waste your money on cheaper ones. These are worth the money. The cheaper ones won’t last a week. These are well-made and high-quality.

Very good product

The media could not be loaded. Being Required to register my DJI Mavic pro with FAA since its above 249 Grams. I also got A FAA RID number to be able to fly in any uncontrolled airspace within local & FAA laws. I wanted to keep with regulations for real manned aircraft and keep the red port side and green starboard side nav lights. even though aircraft uses solid on for the nav lights and these do not have solid on for any other color but white besides the strobe and slower flash pattern effect it is cool and even is a big benefit In daylight they really show up well I got three one on each front leg and one on rear turned to white strobe. I was worried after purchase I seen all the post about blue lights instead of green they must have recently changed that TG I did not want blue. Yes I will If needed In future most defiantly buy these again nice little lights.
