I ordered this product for use in woodworking. It is a bit off label but hear me out. This was perfect because it is cuttable anywhere in the line. Because it is fiber optic it hides nicely. And a brightly lit area it does not show up too well but in full Darkness it is gorgeous. The ability to have an app and change the color patterns and pulses is better than most LEDs that I deal with. It is a USB connector and does not include a brick. They made it very easy to install in seams, and the quality of this product was great. I will have to leave you ordering this product for a while for my wood projects. Does not get hot even if you cut it shorter. Low wattage pull.

Well, it was my mistake, but I thought these were typical "COB" LED light strips, not side-firing, fiber-optic-look-alike strands, so unfortunately I can't use them for what I ordered them for. Instead, my daughter gets a "disco light strip" for her Barbie's doll house, but hey, she's happy!While testing them out, though, I noticed that the white has a slow gradient from one end to the other of solid white to more of a 4000k soft white. Not sure if that's a defect or what, but it's not pretty. As far as the colors go, and all the other modes, everything looks great! The remote control is super handy and, while it may offer more flexibility, I did not install the app, so I can speak for that.

I wanted a little bit more light in my jeep, and this lighting kit does the trick. The lighting is consistent throughout the strip, and it's not overly bright. It's a flat strip of plastic, so it doesn't bend well, but it does fit nicely in the groove of my dashboard (although its a little short). Because I wanted it on the dashboard, hiding the wire was a little tricky. I wish I could figure out how to hide it completely, but I was able to run it down the side of the dash and under so it's not dangling.

My wife has a work from home desk and wanted some ambient lighting to see her keyboard better. This light strip was perfect. I wanted something that wasn't long, had good light, easy to install and was usb powered. Exactly what I was looking for!! It took just a couple minutes to install with the double sided tape, since it's her work from home desk there are plenty of usb ports, and it looks super cool. Great to have and works well. First of all, I really love the light quality. Instead of the dot LED, this LED light strip has more light source that can light up the entire strip without any dark spot. It is very pleasant to see solid LED instead of dot style LED. It's quiet short, it's only 42 inches long, so if you want to do your whole dash, this LED strip is not enough. So you only could decorate certain area of your dash or one car door. If it's too long, you can straight up cut the LED strip to fit your needs. One thing I have to mention, if you want to fit it into the gap of your dash, it will be extremely hard to do. Not because it does not fit, it's because if you band the light to fit through curved line, it's impossible to band it and fit it to curves or corners. If you want to fit it straight, it would be much easier. If you do not wish to fit in through gap, the LED light came with a double sided tape. That way, you could just tape it however you like. But it will be not as pretty as fit it through gap. It came with remote, you can also control it through Bluetooth. This LED strip has so many different mods you can choose from. Also one more thing I would like to mention is the brightness of this LED is super bright, if you turn down the brightness to lowest, it will be very dim, and if you turn it up by one, it will get really bright. Overall, good quality LED but fit it perfectly is very challenging.

It took me a few days to find the perfect spot for these lights, and I finally ended up putting them on the floor passenger side of my truck. I got it since I drive for Lyft and folks seem to really like having just a bit of light in their area during the night hours. I enjoy the mode that has the lights pulse to the beat of the music playin on the radio when I am driving alone, and riders enjoy the soft ambient light from the slow flowing light mode. The adhesive that comes with it is much stronger than I thought it would be and has stood up very well to having so many folks getting in and out of the vehicle. Solid product, and I am thinking I will get another strip or two to add just a bit more light to the back area of the cab.

I’m always looking for new lighting ideas and came across this. The preloaded light settings are very cool to run through but this set works better through the remote controller vs the button on the usb plug. Color is very bright and clean. I did notice the white color when it’s solid color, it tends to go from 6k to 4300k in color which tells me the voltage drops to low on that color setting because when in the build up setting, the white starts at 6k and once it’s about 3/4 full is when the white starts to change in color. These do not bend in any direction so if you working with a straight surface or a curve you’re ok but it will kit twist and curve. Over all happy with what these lights can do.
