Curious George Haunted Halloween (Curious George TV)

My toddler loves Curious George, and his most favorite movie is the Halloween Boo-fest. He’s always playing “no-noggin” and if he gets to pick something to watch, that’s what he requests. He likes this book quite a bit, even though it cuts out the entire ending of the movie. He’s too young to care.My issue with this book is that it arrived to my door bent up and completely out of shape. The box it arrived in contained other books and they were all just fine, so it was obviously added to the box in this condition while being packed at the warehouse. With everything going on with the pandemic, I am avoiding returning items unless I really have to. This book was so cheap that I cant justify returning it right now, so I’m stuck with a misshapen product. At least my toddler doesn’t mind.

My 3 yr old grandson loves Curious George

My son loves George and loves this book. The story is similar to the movie but differs on some main points. The pictures are nice and glossy. Overall, very nice Curious George book.

This is a fun book. The Curious George series is very well done, and this book is an adaptation of the Curious George Haunted Halloween animated movie. My 4 year old daughter loves the movie (wants to watch it even at Christmas time). She also enjoys this book (though she will point out all of the things in the movie that are skipped in the abbreviated literary version). The illustrations are true to the animated version, and the story of "No-Noggin'" is well told :). I highly recommend this book for Curious George fans.

Great gift for grandchildren

My son loved the movie and we were excited for the book, my only gripe is that he noticed it isn't quite the same as the movie. It's a very condensed version but understandably so as I imagine a lot of little ones would probably lose interest too quickly. It came quickly and is bright and fun.

Good story. I read to my 5 year old for his Halloween homework. He had to have a story read to him and then retell in his own words as well as write down a summary of what he remembered. The story was interesting to him, but a tad bit long. Nevertheless, he enjoyed it.

We got this book for my son after he saw the correlating Curious George special, and he absolutely loved it! I can't tell you how many times we read this book!

Ho deciso di acquistare questo libro perchè mio figlio di 6 anni va pazzo per George, in particolare di questo episodio..Nel libro viene omessa la parte in cui, nella serata di halloween, viene organizzata la parata in maschera ed altri piccoli particolari, che mio figlio prontamente ha notato, ma gli ho spiegato che di solito i libri ed i film/cartoni in televisione non sono mai uguali...del resto è un libro per bambini, i cui particolari potrebbero, probabilmente distrarre da quella che è la storia principale e cioè il fantansma di "senza testa".. Comunque...mio figlio felicissimo!!! Lo legge non appena ha l'opportunità! E' un mix di divertimento, paura e coraggio che ai bambini piace molto!

My granddaughter loves Curious George so she was already devoted. We live in Germany, but she will be in the States for Halloween this year. She loves the story that is beyond „cute“. The „headless“ part is a curiosity that needs a solution. She loved everything about this story.

Il libro è più un giornaletto di poche pagine, ha la copertina di cartoncino come quella dei fumetti e pagine in carta sottile, quindi non adatto a bimbi piccolini o comunque da fare attenzione rischio strappo facile. Mi ha un po' deluso questo packaging, ma va bene, per poco meno di 4euro...La storia è come quella del film tranne che, come già detto, manca il finale della festa e parata in paese, peccato!Se volete farvi un'idea di come sia, in rete trovate vari video in inglese.Mio figlio di 2 anni ha apprezzato lo stesso ed è accorto a non strapparlo.

O livro é muito bom para enriquecer o vocabulário da criança. O livro é fininho, o que é bom para crianças que estão aprendendo inglês, colorido, atraente, fácil de traduzir e interpretar.
