The biggest travesty with this product is how few reviews it has, and hence how it gets pushed down in Amazon's algorithm.I play my Switch almost exclusively in handheld mode. I've tried two other cases (PDP, and an unlicensed brand on Amazon), and while they were serviceable...the thing that makes this one so much better is the extended grips / handles. They save your wrists, and make it so much more comfortable to game harder and longer. It 's actually pretty lightweight, while feeling physically solid when attached to the Switch.At first, I didn't want to buy the case, as it's quite a bit more expensive than just buying the grip ($14.99), and I was worried it would be too large to conveniently travel with. Now looking back, I'm really glad I did. Clearly no other case can efficiently fit the grips, and at this point I can't imagine playing without them. The case is actually pretty sleek, well-built and durable, and not as inconveniently bulky as I had thought it would be. It's actually pretty amazing how much fits in the case - the primary appeal for me is being able to fit in the game cartridges, two joy-con straps, and a charging cord.At this point anything else would be gravy...but the thumb grips are worth purchasing on their own. They provide great traction and control, and fit onto the joy-cons like a glove. Again, I have the PDP thumb grips, and they are nowhere near as good. The rubber on the RDS is firmer and has a much higher durometer (yes I'm an engineer).I honestly can't think of a single thing I don't like about this product. And I love that they sell the grips / handles separately. I have no reason to think that mine will break, but if it somehow does (probably from me sitting on it), it's great to know that I can buy another one on its own.

I really like this case. The case is great, very high quality. The grips clip onto and back off of the switch easily. The grips make using the switch in handheld mode very comfortable; it's excellent that the case was made to house the switch with grip connected. My only complaint is that there isn't enough game storage slots inside the case. it comes with 2 switch game cases that fit in the carry case easily but additional cases don't fit in the 2nd compartment. I'm not sure what the 2nd compartment is for. Maybe it's for a charger brick? Not much will fit in the pocket on the internal protective flap. If you put almost anything into the flap then the lid will bulge while closed. It is not perfect but it is close.

If you play the Nintendo Switch this is a must have. It makes it so much more comfortable to play the Switch for long periods when you should be working. Plus it has a great case that you can stash it in when the boss comes into your office unannounced.Only thing I'd change would be to add more capacity to the game holder, or to add it in the "flap" like many other styles of cases. I put my switch, the official Nintendo branded usb C cable, my SX Pro dongle, a BT adapter, and a set of BT earbuds. All fit nicely.

I can’t imagine using my switch without this. Absolute game changer for handheld playing. It’s super comfy and makes playing so much easier. There’s a very tiny amount of extra space that you will notice, but it is non existent when your playing.The thumb grips are also really good quality. They’re gray, unlike the red and blue in the pic, but they still look really cool.

I bought this primarily for the Grip case, as I find the Switch uncomfortable to hold otherwise. From that perspective, this works! The minor pain and discomfort I'd get before is alleviated. I do find that the positioning of the grips has me holding the screen at an angle I typically would not, angled further away from my eyes than felt right, but I got used to that quickly. It is not a perfect fit though, and I do feel some very small movement on occasion where the switch shifts around in the case holding it.The rubber analog stick covers work, and make them easier to use. They were a bit tricky to put on, and felt really rough against my skin until a few hours of use made them settle in.The case itself is very sturdy feeling, and gives a nice bit of piece of mind. I haven't used it to go anywhere, or had any experience with a situation that'd test its durability and protectiveness though.My biggest complaint, after a couple of weeks, there's still a noticeable odor coming off the rubber plastic pieces on the grip and analog stick covers. Perhaps compounded by the fact I've been keeping it in the case when not used, but its been out for 12+ hours at least and is no less pungent than the day I got it. I have to wash my hands to remove the smell after using it. Hoping that dissipates soon!

i had purchased the grip without the case and i regretted it so i bought another one with the case. grip makes the switch much better to use without my hands falling asleep. case is nice and protective. i like how it has places for the joycon strap things and cases for some games.

I ordered one for myself, and one for my son, and we love them. My son has played portable so much that his controllers wobble really bad on the console screen, and this helps a lot. Keeps it stable, feels comfortable, and looks great!

This grip/case setup tips the scales on the Nintendo Switch for this user. Prior to this acquisition, I used the console primarily while paired with my television. Now I rarely connect the two. It makes the console significantly more comfortable and easy to play while handheld. A must have.

Comfortable, case has plenty of space for travel adapter, joy-con straps, games, and some extra stuff in the little pouch. The only problem is the grip tends to creak a bit at the sides as it is not a wrap around grip and does not contact the joy-cons underneath for some reason, but this can be fixed with a couple layers of electrical tape pressed into the corners of the grip where the bottom of the joy-con rests.

Para los que le gusta usar la consola en modo portatil o les gusta llevarsela de su casa y usarla en la calle, este combo es excelente, no solo el feeling de el grip es excelente y sumamente rigido, sino que ademas el estuche sirve perfecto para transportar la consola con el puesto, ademas si erel estuche permite llevar contigo juegos fisicos y cargador, ademas de traer una telita para limpiar la pantalla y si eres de los que usa CFW no solo puedes llevarte tu cable usb c doble para cargar tu payload con tu telefono android, sino que si tienes un RCM Injector puedes llevarlo perfectamente en su compartimiento de cierre y cabe todo dentro sin ningun problema :-)Nota: pudiese ser un poco mas economico que de hecho lo es, si tienen a alguien que se los traiga de los estados unidos se ahorrarian como 200 pesos jeje pero igual aqui en muchas ocasiones se consigue al precio correcto, 100% recomendado!

I got this mainly for the comfort grip. It's really easy to put on and take off. The grip isn't of the highest quality but it seems sturdy enough and doesn't look like it would break with extended use. It makes the Switch much easier to hold and play. A grip is almost indispensable for longer play sessions. The Switch does move and creak a little inside the grip but that doesn't bother me as much as my Vita moving in its grip did, perhaps because it's wider and more comfortable to hold. A rigid fit is preferred of course, there are third party ergonomic grip replacements for the joycons which could be worth considering, but those would be much more expensive.The case, though made for this grip, doesn't fit it as well as I would like. The fit is slightly tight but it gets the job done.The relatively low price of this set, considering what you get with it, makes it a very good buy.
