Well made and good design
This cool backpack bag feel well made with heavy duty fabric, piped edging for shape and a smooth zip, padded adjustable backpack straps.I was concerned that the design of the backpack would be hard to keep clean, but the bag cleverly has a double zip flap lid so can be opened up hugely and is easy to wipe out and dry.The insulation isn't very thick but feels quite dense, not just the layer of bubble wrap found in cheaper cool bags. It seems to hold cool reasonably and there is plenty of room for some serious size cool packs. On that point, the Black colour makes sense for not looking grubby, especially after site use, but it does make for the most efficient absorption of sun light heat so its going to be vital this stays in the shade at all times.A missing detail is there are no feet or rubber base, it sits on the fabric underside and will get very grubby/worn whilst being harder to wash than just wiping a rubber/plastic base.I would of course be a great site or 'on the road' workers daily supply bag but I will mainly use for picnics on days out on the bikes or fetching some shopping from the farm butchers on my bike. I am sure it will be useful other times too.Current price is 24 quid which is okay'ish but possibly paying a bit over for the brand name, there are discounts though that take some edge off it.All in all a pleasing product, well made, not massive but probably capacity to spare, easy to carry and folds flatter for taking up less room when stored. There is a strong Velco seal to close up the end of the top flap and a top carry handle too.I do recommend it.

Useful cooler bag/back pack
This cooler bag is a really practical way to carry your lunch or a family picnic. It has a large main section, with a double zipped fastening, and a pocket at the front. All areas are insulated and the bag can be carried via a handle or the padded straps. It's got a really good capacity and looks well made and robust. We brought it on holiday with us, where it proved invaluable for packed lunches.

It's OK
I guess there are different qualities of 'cool bag' and this isn't quite as good as one we already own. It has a thickened water proof interior, but it's not the usual silver reflective material often found in cool bags. You can access the main interior space two ways; via a larger zip at the back or a smaller zip to the front. There is also a small outer pocket. We tested this against our current one with the same items and ice packs in and it didn't fare nearly as well, with the food not being as cold some 3 hours after packing it. Aesthetically, it looks nice, but I wouldn't trust it to keep food cold and safe for more than 3-4 hours.

Spacious and lightweight
I ordered this JCB cooler backpack because I like to go for walks in the summer and wanted to be able to take some bottles of cold drinks with me. I often go to a local park where there are ducks and squirrels so I wanted a fairly sizable backpack so I could take some food for them. This backpack is large with a 16l capacity but it is also very lightweight. You can definitely fit a 2l bottle into this with space to spare, and there is a front pouch which could take a phone and a purse or wallet.I did some gardening yesterday and put a bottle of cola in the bag, the insulation definitely made a difference and it stayed cool (the bag was outside in the sun for about 5 hours). I can also vouch for it being leakproof as the lid came off the drink, nothing leaked through at all.The ergonomic straps are comfortable and the dual zip opening makes it easy to access everything inside the bag quickly.I am really happy with this bag, it delivers everything it says in the product notes and feels durable and good quality. For the price it offers excellent value for money and is already getting a lot of use. Highly recommended.

Cool bag.!
Slightly smaller than my current one and that's a good thing.2x pockets in the main area with a mesh side pocket to carry my hot drink. The weird thing is the main compartment that has 2x zips about 2 inches apart from one another, undo both zips and this creates a flap of material. I personally don't see the point of it.. OK you can get your lunchbox out easier but every bag/rucksack I've ever had has had a single zip and functioned perfectly well.Good insulation and I'm sure will keep my food cooler/hotter for longer, but yet again I need to ask why, this is a work rucksack as such I will be loading my lunchbox with sandwiches/ fruit etc and going to work.. Let's just say 8am start, if this stays in my bag will it remain cool at 1pm when I have a break (assuming there is no fridge) 5 hrs? I think not, OK put in a ice pack that'll work well but the capacity of this bag restricts the stuff you need to carry. Unless used solely as a lunch bag, now I need to carry x2 bags..As a picnic bag where food is being transported for a short while then opened and eaten this would work, so a JCB picnic bag?.. Not really. The bag itself besides that is good JCB typical materials good and thick with strong handles and great stitching.

Strong And Well Made
I ordered the JCB Cooler Backpack. This is a great little bag, it is black polyester on the outside and white PVC on the inside which makes the inside waterproof. The main compartment is unusual as there are 2 zips to undo and then if you open the Velcro the whole of the top lifts up so you get a large gap to access your things. There is a thin zip pocket on the front and a mesh pouch at the side for a water bottle. The shoulder straps are thick and padded and can be adjusted. There is also a strong carry handle at the top. This is a robust and well made cooler bag and I can definitely recommend it.
