A Fab Pick for New Mums!
This wonderful prenatal supplement combines the power of vitamins and greens with the bounty of herbs to bring about all-around health for mother and baby. It was wonderful to see Biotin and Folate to help with fetal development, as well barely and chamomile which are soothers for morning sickness. The amount of each vitamin is abundant, save for the calcium which is a bit on the lower side (4%).The vegetarian capsules are easy to take and average in size, sliding down well with a glass of water. They do not carry a funk taste, nor do they cause me any strange-flavored burps or odd gas. However, due to the iron, the supplement can be a little hard on the stomach and may cause cramping. (I have a sensitive tummy) I make certain I take these with a larger meal and with plenty of water to offset this, and the niacin flush that comes with the whopping full 113/100% of Niacin.Overall, it is pleasing to see organic ingredients and both vitamins and herbals together in this prenatal. It is afforable and saves money overall when compared to buying many of the ingredients separately. It can provide abundant nutrients for pregnant and nursing mums.

Smells Funky
It’s a decent whole food vitamin but I don’t think it’s a complete source for pregnancy or breastfeeding as others have said you need to supplement some things. But good for a regular multivitamin. It smells a bit funky so read the ingredients, looks like 2 types of sea weed/kelp and 2 types of algae ? Interesting

Easy to Swallow, no Nasty Burps
I love that these are made in Sugar Land, TX, USA. I trust the safety and efficacy of the ingredients because of that. I've tried other Bluebonnet supplements in the past and was highly satisfied, and these are no exception. I am borderline anemic, so I prefer prenatal vitamins because they usually have iron included in the mix. These capsules do, and the nice thing is, you don't get a rusty metal taste in your mouth when you swallow them. I also did not have any nasty burps throughout the day, so I feel like they are fully absorbed and utilized by your body. The capsule size is nice too...normal size, not a "horse pill". I think these would be great for pregnant women with morning sickness, not just because they're easy to swallow, but also because they don't smell or taste weird, so they won't trigger your gag reflex. It's nice to see that there's no calcium in here, but there is vitamin C...your body needs vitamin C to absorb iron, and calcium blocks the absorption of iron, so these have what you need and nothing that hinders the process! I absolutely recommend them.

👃👃They smell bad
I do not like the smell at all, it's hard to take when you get a whiff of that odd right before you consume..its non returnable and because of that I more then likely absolutely will never order another vitamin through Amazon.Who has $$ to lose..

Great and healthy supplements for me
The whole food-based formula makes it feel more natural, and it covers both prenatal and postnatal needs, which is helpful for long-term use. With only one capsule a day, it's easy to stay consistent. This has helped me be healthy throughout the time I have been taking these, easy to take and a lot to last you a while.

Excellent whole food prenatal! Love it!
As someone who has spent researched nutrition and vitamins in particular for decades, I am very enthusiastic about this particular prenatal supplement:- it is made of truly whole food ingredients, not just "whole food based" in the loose sense of the term- it does not have harmful additives, chemicals, dyes, sugars, or synthetic vitamins or fillers- it is very clearly labeled so you can see exactly how each ingredient is whole-food based- it is incredibly affordable for a whole food prenatal- it has the ideal amount of iodine- it has more than ample iron, which is something very hard to find in many prenatals- it has 100% of basically every essential nutrient for prenatal purposes; some people may prefer more, but for one pill a day and a whole food supplement, that is excellent- it does have some helpful herbs- it is in a small glass bottle- it looks pretty and thus is inspiring to takeDownside:- it smells a little, but that is to be expected since it is so natural- it doesn't have much calcium, but once again, that is to be expected because whole food calcium can normally only be found in larger pills- I wish it had more choline, but that can be taken separatelyThe only thing I would recommend is that if a pregnant or breastfeeding woman were to want to take this regularly they should look into what sort of third-party testing the company does for contaminants. Likely it will be fine, but the description didn't contain that information, so that would be my one precaution.
