The battery in the Lion carrying case only lasted about a day but other than that it does the job. My kids love animals and they have been in great condition since we got them.

The lion head can be a bit hard to snap open, but on the plus side, that means that it's unlikely to come open by mistake if using it as a carrying case. The fence pieces actually do conect with each other, although the plastic seems pretty flimsy, so I'm unsure how long they'll last. The plastic eggs are similar in that; I can easily see them getting smushed in by a kid just grabbing them too hard.The main draw here is, of course, the animals. They seem pretty sturdy, but the paint job isn't quite as nice as what the product photos show. The brown bear and polar bear have black rings around their eyes like the panda bear does, and some of the stripes on the zebra's back don't quite line up. Many of the larger animals have a small bump of extra plastic on their back (we're talking like the size of a pen tip here though), or a small hole/scrape-looking mark where that extra platic was presumably removed. Regardless, those are just a few cosmetic issues that are unlikely to affect most kids' enjoyment of the animals.

Only a few animals stand on their own.

Great toy

Great set of animals. Nice size, good amount of detail, fun for my toddler to play with. I actually got rid of the big lion head because the sound was really loud and scary and my toddler didn’t like it, and it was hard to open.
