This is a great product. It's soft and it's not noises when you sleep on it. I feel it will protect the mattress.

I really like the feeling and the texture. It doesn’t get warm and it definitely is waterproof because I spilled coffee on my bed and it did didn’t go through to the mattress. Highly recommend.

I had been wanting to try this mattress protector after seeing it reviewed elsewhere, and am glad that I ordered it. It's easier to fold and store than most mattress pads, is well-stitched throughout, and has multiple ways to attach it to your mattress. To keep it from sliding around AND to better protect against allergens, I did extend the corners all the way down so that the sides of the box spring are covered as well. This makes for a more comfortable sleep, rather than having to scrunch all over the place, trying to get the ridges sorted at bed time. The top is much thinner than most mattress pads, so if that is a problem for you, I suggest getting one of those toppers, but then placing the mattress protector over it so that you do not lose the benefits of the protector. The only problem with the protector is that, due to stretching the long sides to cover the box spring, I cannot tuck in the top sheet or any blankets. I don't personally mind because I don't care about appearances, but those who are concerned with such things might find it frustrating. You would be better off getting a pair of the complete protector covers that zip all around the mattress and using one for each the mattress and the box spring, thus ensuring complete coverage and the appearance you desire.As for me, there are more than enough expenses involved with having asthma and multiple allergies, so I'm quite pleased to save money on a good and well-made product.
