Have used this brand of flash drive over many years & found them quick (for my purposes), reliable & the 128GB holds a lot of whatever you want to store. A good buy.

Excellent quality. Good transfer speeds over USB 3.0. I would have preferred for the connector to be completely covered when not in use... There is no cap on the end. The body slides forward to cover the connector but leaves the end 'open' which will allow dust in.

Originally this seemed to work at similar speeds to other USB 3.0 pens or I didn’t notice any issues, but it now stops regularly for 10-20secs, no other pen I’ve ever owned has done this, it’s the slowest usb 3.0 pen I have. The picture shows just a small 1GB file. Contacted Verbatim and provided videos to show a normal USB pen and this one and they said it was normal and seeming to say it’s acceptable as it’s low price. Avoid this rubbish pen!!!From Verbatim:thanks for the helpful videos. I understand you, that you are not satisfied with this model. Bought as the cheapest 32gb usb3 available. Pleasantly surprised, transfers as quickly as my other usb3 sticks so for the price this is a bargain. The speed reported by my system is 29Mb/s if that helps anyone. The stick itself is slightly slimmer then the current assortment of my mix of sticks, similar length. The opening and closing slide is firm and has a quality feel.

I bought this for work, to transfer large test data files. I don't know how it is with small files, but with large files (250MB to 1.2GB) it is incredibly slow. It seems to drop to 0MB/sec transfer rates for several seconds, then has a brief 1-2 second burst at high speed, followed by another long 0MB/sec period. I'm assuming it's filling an internal buffer, then waiting for the buffer to clear into the main storage before refilling the buffer. If you need to write large files quickly, look elsewhere, but if capacity is more important to you than speed, this could be the bargain you are looking for.

Original order never arrived. Amazon replaced item when informed at no extra cost. Replacement arrived within 2 days and works fine. Very handy little piece of kit. Does what it says on the tin. My Mac pc recognises it no problem. File transfer quick and easy. Simple word of advice for removing from pc after use, always use operating system eject facility before removal so as not to risk damaging internal integrity of drive.

With the reviews that stated some of the drives were DOA, I checked them all. They were formatted FAT, so I changed that to ExFAT to work on both Windows and Mac. There were some mis-allocated areas and they were repaired by my Mac. So far no problems.

La rapidité de Transfer des dossier est assez impressionnante, pour le prix je constate que j'aie de la qualité.

Je suis fidèle client de Verbatim : 1 Disque Dur Externe 4 To et mes Clé USB en 2012, puis 2020, qui montre des signes de fatigue après quatre ans d’usage intensif....branchée et utilisée chaque jour (pro et perso) ainsi qu’une à deux sauvegardes intégrales par semaine....Et là, en regardant les propriétés de la clé : 461 Go, ce qui correspond plus à du 512 Go (il y a toujours un peu de perte...) qu’à du 256 Go !....je confirme que j’ai bien payé pour une 256 Go et qu’il est bien mentionné 256 Go sur la boîte d’emballage....Bon, je n’ai pas encore commencé à utiliser la clé, mais j’ai toute confiance...Pour le coup, le rapport qualité/prix semble imbattable !...
