This brush is phenomenal for my 2C-3A fine curls. I love the pointed handle for sectioning my hair. This brush helps define and add volume to my curls quickly and easily. The bristles help smooth my hair and define every curl in the fraction of the time that finger curling or Denman brushes. I have found that it works best when I have my hair soaking wet, then add gel and cream, and section in 3 sections (below the ear, middle, and the crown/bangs) before using.I highly recommend this brush - it is well worth the investment and was clearly created by someone who has an intimate knowledge of curls and the struggles that come with them.

I have to admit, I saw this thing and said "yeah...another gimmick" and "should I get it?" and "yeah, gal, go ahead and treat yourself...again!!".First off, it's a hefty item. It doesn't feel or look cheaply made. But most of all, this thing does exactly as promised! I don't take pictures of myself and I don't (often) rave about anything, but I swear to you that your curly hair deserves this brush and you will ask yourself where it has been all your life.My hair is thinning and I haven't been proud of my efforts to style my curls for a very long time. This brush made them more beautiful and bountiful than they ever were....and I had truly lovely hair when I was younger.Here's what I did:I shampooed and conditioned my hair. I lightly toweled it a bit then I applied my products. Lately, I'm really liking the Sol De Janeiro leave-in spray and Kenra Curl Defining Cream. Then I just used the brush as they show in the video and scrunched in the end. Then I allowed my hair to air-dry. It's my usual thing and I try to avoid heat if I can. After it dried, I applied a dab of Hask Rose Oil & Peach High Shine Glaze just to bring it all together. The result is bouncy, smooth, graceful, well-formed curls...as opposed to my usual crazy curls of all shapes/sizes no matter what product regimen I've tried over the years.So, my words to you: If you are on the fence and thinking it's not going to work for you, just go ahead and buy this thing. You don't even need styling skills (I know I sure don't!). You're going to be amazed and you'll love your hair again. This is one gimmick that actually works. Update: I have had the brush for about 6 days or so and have used it to style my hair twice. This brush is GREAT at defining my curls with the right product. The only things I would said would downgrade this brush from a 5-star product to a 4.5 is that it is very difficult to clean if you use a gel like ecostyler gel or a thick cream, and it does not do a great job of defining your roots. Other than that, this brush is pretty good.I have Type 4 hair and was very hesitant about purchasing this brush, but I took a chance because it could be delivered the same day. I am so glad I did because this brush is my new bestie!Highly recommend you read the instructions on the box as it will save you from having to restyle your hair. This brush IS NOT a detangler so please make sure your hair is detangled before using.If you have Type 4 hair like me, soaking wet hair with a heavy styling gel worked wonders. This brush is so easy to use and the handle is amazing. It cut down my styling time and also didn’t take as long for my hair to air dry. Will definitely purchase again 😊

I love this curl brush. It was recommended to me by my stylist and has proven its worth! It gives me amazing curls and brushes well.My only complaint is that it lost a bristle after the 3rd use (and I only use on untangled wet hair). So that was disappointing. Otherwise it’s been great.

It’s everything they said it was and it did exactly that! The brush is also very sturdy and the pink is very pretty. Love the shape and everything about it! Do not hesitate and buy!

I really like this brush for my teens they have 3b/c hair & my boys 2c hair always have their curls looking nice. But I will say I bought a knock off version just to compare it the knock off version I think was like seven or $10 and unfortunately it was just as good but I don’t know if that one will last as long as this one because it seems like the materials are a little bit cheaper.

My hairdresser recommended this brush and it has been a total game changer for me!!! I used to say I had 2B/C hair but with this brush it looks closer to 3A! It takes a bit of a learning curve with the technique (brush up and shake the handle) but I’ve used it 3 times and every time get a better result. Defined, BOUNCY and frizz-free curls like I’ve never had before! I use it with the Loma volume mousse and max volume gel. I barely need to diffuse now when I used to depend on it for any semblance of volume. Seriously, buy it!

The brush is nice: however, it has two major drawbacks making it essentially useless to me.Problem One: the bristles started falling out when I first used the brush.Problem Two: the epoxy ball tips (nubs) on the bristles snag hair causing way too much hair to snap, break, and accumulate in the brush.Hear: snap, crackle, pop!On the positive side, the brush might be perfect if all of the bristles with epoxy ball tips fall out of the brush but I am not going to test this hypothesis on my hair! 🧐😂 Perhaps Bounce R&D will develop a product for customers who don’t like ball bristle brushes.
