What a great backpack for all your traveling needs.I had the prior Bont backpack and they have definitely updargaded the zippers and love the new heavy duty material.

I thought this would be like the regular Bont backpack but better but it actually contained less space than the regular Bont backpack. I liked the idea of the many compartments but the execution left a lot to be desired. I think the compartments just took away space (because they made the main compartment narrower) instead of adding more space.In the normal Bont backpack, I can fit my helmet and then my knee pads next to it. This backpack was too narrow so I had to put my knee pads on top of the helmet. I also felt that the main compartment was narrow from back to front as well.This backpack does not include a carrying handle which the normal Bont backpack has.It has bungee straps instead which the images show that you can put a helmet in but I could not figure out how to do that.The side compartments of this backpack is also shorter and narrower than the side compartments of the normal bont backpack so I can't fit my wheels all stacked on top of each other or in tow neat rows next to each other.I do like how there is a strap on each side you can clip stuff to.This backpack has a front compartment which can fit two shirts and a front pocket at the bottom of the backpack. I thought it would be a compartment that goes underneath like the normal bont backpack but it is just a front compartment which is disappointing. This front pocket at the bottom isn't able to carry a lot of stuff.The back is well padded and seems sweat wicking (I didn't test this) and seems like they carry the weight well. I do like the back of the regular Bont backpack because it's straps isn't just stitched down to the back and can curve closer to your back (you'll understand what this means if you have this backpack.)TLDR: just get the regular bont backpack.if you need extra compartments, just attach some molle or pouches to the regular bont backpack.

As a derby player, this is a great upgrade from the 1st gen Bont backpack, with much sturdier zipper, straps and seams. The side straps hold skates securely like the 1st gen model, while the front pockets on this bag perfectly organize all my derby essentials - tools, mouth guards, and whistles. The interior easily fits my pads, extra set of wheels, notebook and jersey too. This new sleek design is absolutely perfect and a great value.

I recently bought this bag to use as a carry-on for my skate gear, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice!
