Cougar Pro E3426 3/8" Drive Quick Release Oval Head Knurled Handle Ratchet

This ratchet has 30 teeth which is a pretty course action. I originally bought this due to the USA stamp in the picture. Mine, unfortunately, doesn't have the made in USA stamp and was probably made offshore. I have probably 20-30 ratchets and this one is far outclassed by most of my ratchets. I took the mechanism apart and it has three tooth engagement and appears extremely strong. The "back drag" as I call it is way too much, which causes this ratchet not to ratchet once the bolt is loosened. This is a mediocre ratchet at best, and for the money, there are way better ratchets out there.Three stars-------------------Edit 12/16/14I had a Stanley 3/8 ratchet break on me. Due to the lifetime warranty, I called Stanley Tools and they sent me a new 3/8 ratchet in the mail, free of charge. It arrived today and it looked strikingly familiar to me. I pulled out my Wright Tools Cougar E3426 ratchet and IT IS IDENTICAL TO THE STANLEY 3/8 RATCHET. I took them both apart and it is 100% obvious to me that they are made in the same factory. The Stanley ratchet has 45 teeth compared to the 30 teeth in the Cougar ratchet. The Stanley tools 3/8 ratchet, at today's prices, is about $5 to $6 cheaper than this Cougar ratchet and is nicer to use due to the finer tooth action. I'm actually going to lower the Wright Tools Cougar ratchet from 3 stars to 2 stars. Ratchet is good quality, but the one I ordered which is the one pictured in the advertisement, was of USA manufacture, and much heavier construction. Was very disappointed! Will not be ordering through this company again. I see where other people had similar issues.
