I got this bag hoping to use it to replace my laptop bag which just doesn’t meet my needs anymore. I might still try to use this for that purpose but I think it’s a bit too big frankly to work well for that purpose for my work needs but that’s my fault, not the bags shortcoming. First off, the quality of this bag is really nice. I’d say the sellers photos are a really good indication of what you receive. The fabric is a nice heavy canvas but it’s not stiff. It has a weathered feel to it which makes it feel comfortable both to the touch and against your body as you carry/wear this bag.As for the functional aspect, this bag is well designed. The shoulder strap is adjustable and there are many pockets, both zippered and non. If you have lots of different documents, toiletries or other small items to organize, this bag will work well for your needs to keep organized.As for style, I think this bag has a really nice look to it, looking vintage-ish while bringing modern convenience like the plastic buckles to secure the flap. There’s a small part of me that wishes it had fake metal buckles to totally complete the vintage look but the functional aspect of the plastic buckles is way more convenient and secure. I have a feeling I’ll end up using this as a travel/overnight bag instead of my backpack. It’s perfectly sized for a change of clothes and some toiletries and way more stylish than a backpack.

Bought this bag for my daughter, who needed a new messenger bag. This bag is good quality but does not hold the size laptop as stated in the description. We'll be sending it back.

I got this bag to fill a gap between my ultra-portable bag that only has room for my laptop and a notebook and my full travel backpack that has room for everything I need for a day-trip. This bag has plenty of room and pockets - I can carry my laptop and accessories as well as a couple books, notebooks, and my water bottle. It is made of good quality materials - the canvas and straps all feel good; the clasps are plastic that close the top flap, but the other buckles, buttons, and zippers all are some sort of light metal. The design overall is great as it looks professional and doesn't look like it is trying too much to look unique. I'm happy with this bag and plan to use it for work.

The bag is sturdy, has nice zipper, magnetic closers on side pockets. Enough pockets to store most stuff. Material is a kind of canvas but the brown version looks nice, almost like suede until you look close. Strap is nicely adjustable and is strong. The bag can be 'overstuffed' a bit if you need and it should stand up to that. It is suitable for small to medium size laptop, probably 15 inch is a practical size limit. The flip over top is nice - keeps stuff more secure that just an open top. It is suitable for a carryon bag (but not sturdy enough to be checked baggage on an airline IMHO).
