very compact , much smaller than a typical smoke detector size. This is a good thing, as its lighter, so easier to install , and less obtrusive. I also purchased 3M Magnetic plates, that make installation super easy , as you can easily remove the alarm, so can replace it in the future, and the wall plate is always in place.

Very small and quite loud on testing after very easy insert and twist installation. Used this in my kitchen because it's not affected by smoke that comes from my wok when frying rice etc. Heat from a small piece of burning newspaper held 75 cm below it set it off. So I believe any form of small household fire would easily set it off.

This was easy to install, looks sleek and takes up very little space. But after 9 months the battery died (when it is supposed to last 10 years) and it cannot be replaced. When I contacted the seller here on Amazon, they replied immediately but with a vague answer:"The battery has a storage life of between 5 and 8 years. After the smoke detector has been activated, the 10 year life expectancy only starts if you follow the rules regarding testing and cleaning the smoke detector.For more information, see the user's manual and How to test and maintain smoke detectors."I am not sure what this means. I can't imagine that cleaning or testing the device more often would have increased its battery life from 9 months to the advertised 10 years. It looks perfectly clean to me. I did not go back to read the manual as they suggested, because I will be buying a different product. If you do go for this product, please read the manual first to find this maintenance secret that you need to follow to make the battery last.

Works well. Very small & neat

When I opened the packaging, I got concerned at the size BUT.... they are wicked loud and super easy to install. Not bulk or unsightly.

If you’re looking for an unobtrusive alarm this is the product go for it’s tiny fits in palm of hand and very loud , and not ugly big like most alarms ,can’t comment on. Battery life as only just recived , but on first reciving I’m happy and would recomend !

Recién instalado, no lo he probado porque es térmico y tendría que poner una fuente de calor que elevara la temperatura y no es fácil, espero que no salte nunca.
