I recently purchased the FortLocks 4 Digit Combination Padlock and I’m genuinely impressed with the quality. The lock feels very tough and sturdy in hand, giving me confidence that it can handle daily use whether it’s for a school locker, toolbox, shed, or storage case. One thing that really stands out compared to a lot of other locks I’ve used is how smooth and easy the dials are to turn. Setting and entering the code is quick and hassle-free, which makes a big difference when you’re using it regularly. I also like the overall design — it has a modern look rather than the usual bulky or outdated style you often see with padlocks. On top of that, it’s great value for money, especially considering the build quality. Delivery was fast as well, which is always a bonus. I use this at the gym to secure my locker with my iPhone inside. For an expensive phone, I wanted something reliable and this delivers. The build feels solid, the reinforcements are noticeable and I trust it completely. Good purchase.

When I joined my local gym I was offered a basic drum barrel lock for the price of £5.00. The main body was black & the hasp & drum were silver coloured.As you can read I’m using the past tense because this padlock is now where it truly belongs, IN THE BIN. I’m short sighted, so from the very first day I used it I struggled to open my gym locker even with my glasses on & I didn’t seem to be the only person in the gym locker that had this problem. The male changing room has small ceiling led lights which are bright & when you move the body of the padlock to the light it just reflected horribly back in my face. So I started looking around for something that would suit my needs, my criteria was simple. I was looking for the following, 1. A bright colour body, so it would stand out from other padlocks. (I find all padlocks look the same shiny brass or steel finishes).Can’t manufacturers be a little more individual innovative dare I say unique?. 2. A matt barrel lock that wouldn’t reflect the light. 3. A barrel lock wheel I could easily navigate with my chunky fingers. 4. Barrel numbers which are boldly embossed in a different colour paint to the wheel. 5. A hasp that would fit a gym locker. 6. A tamper proof barrel lock. Finally, I didn’t need this padlock to be waterproof for me it wasn’t important as it was going to be used mainly indoors only. I use this padlock four day’s a week numerously with no sign of deterioration evident, the numbers on the barrel lock still look as pristine as the first day I unwrapped my parcel. The stainless steel hasp opens with a nice eager hop & always locks first time I push the hasp into the body lock. I haven’t used any lubricants on any part of this lock whatsoever & it’s performing reliably well since purchased. What more can you ask of a humble lock!

Finally sorted ✔️. It has been a bit of struggle to read the codes of my old padlocks purchased in my previous gyms as they are on the side and silver . This padlock codes are in the middle , highlighted in the contrasted white and black , super easy to see numbers without contact lenses or reading glasses. Slightly heavier than the padlocks you can buy in gyms but nothing to beat this readable version. Before I had to twist my neck and get close to the locker and pretty odd posture to use my padlock . Now pretty confident and no panics nor stress . Also , to reset your code, you need a screwdriver so ultra safe . Another one I returned could have unlocked the cover of the reset areas by my nail easily . It takes some time to set your code and get affectionate to your padlock . The padlock fits perfectly to my new gym . ( I think it would fit to most of gyms as close design of my previous gyms padlocks but the u part gets more stretched which is nice and slightly longer for the bottom as a design which adds more weight) only downside is limitations of colours selection but hyper realistic design to be user friendly !

Been using for a couple of months now on lockers when go to the gym. So far very pleased, sturdy & easy to use.

This is a great padlock. 3 robust rotary lock and a solid mechanism, hardened hasp and rust proof. The minor niggle is no instructions to change the look so I will describe below. Step one remove the change lever cover on the base of the lock (requires a small posi-drive screw driver). Step two - open the lock (it comes set on 0000). Step 3 push the lever to the right (it says "set" when in the correct position). Step 4 - reset with your desired combination and close the hasp. This will reset the change lever. Don't forget to test it. Step 5 - resecure the change lever cover. Contrary to some review you cannot change the combination unless the correct combination is entered and the hasp is in the open position.

Do not buy this item. I bought two at the same time. The same thing happened to both of these locks. Either the lock won't open or the numbers don't move. I thought one was defective and so tried the other. Same thing happened. Really bad product.

Pour le moment, le cadenas fonctionne très bien, la boucle est assez large pour être utilisé à pas mal d’endroits. Les molettes sont fluides et l’ensemble me parfait plutôt solide. Si un problème de durabilité se présente, je reviendrai mettre le commentaire à jour.

Entra perfectamente en la taquilla de mi gimnasio. Una manera segura de cambiar la contraseña. Probablemente el mejor, a un precio sostenido. ¿Recomendaría su compra?, sí.

Returning it, but don't let that keep you from buying it. Because the problem I'm reporting is probably one in a million and I'm picky. The spring tension on some of the wheels isn't strong enough to hold the wheel in place and the combination can be easily bumped. But this lock follows the master lock 178 design and no they're not using ball bearings here, but it's working the same. When you attempt to pick this lock, you will be up against a huge challenge, because you're relying on an internal spring to apply a slight pressure on the combed shaft to allow Passage through the gates. Pulling the shackle only tightens the grip on the blocking bar, so it can't be picked, at least not conventionally. Only when the correct combination is dialed will the blocking bar be permitted to drop, allowing the ball bearings freedom to move. Furthermore, the fact that the shackle is short, notch locked and held deep in the body of the lock, means that the lock is much more resistant to Brute Force attacks such as twisting via a pipe wrench or pliers. The lock is resistant to shim attacks between the wheels of the dials as well, and prying the plastic cover off to have better access to the wheels, does you no good at all. Is it tough Under Fire? YES IT IS! Because the wheels are made of plastic, and burning or melting them only guarantees you'll never be able to open the lock, and underneath the plastic wheels is brass. In closing, for a cheap retro or chinese made replica, it's worth the money definitely, so five stars. It's very good and I really like the change code slide switch on the bottom, mine even come with a protective screw down cover plate to prevent accidental change of combination. It's a nice feature, but it's really not necessary because the change code switch takes some effort to snap it over to the change code position, but if you never plan to change the code once you set it, the protective cover plate is nice. Now that you've read my review, I will promptly return my lock as defective, while telling you to buy it, because you likely won't regret it. Special note, I'm hearing reports of RUST, so it MAY NOT BE GOOD FOR OUTDOOR USE!
