Cryorig AM4-Kit - Type B Mounting Plate for H7 & H7 Quad Lumi

Upgraded from an intel CPU to the Ryzen 3600. Didn’t have to buy a whole new cooler. Super easy to install, and still keeps the temps good.

Not dinging the score on the product because it does EXACTLY what it's intended to do. However, I will comment that I opted to pay $5 to purchase this instead of trying to jump through hoops with Cryorig after I contacted them to ask what kind of documentation I needed to provide to have them send me one for free and I was just pointed back to a webpage I'd already seen that doesn't actually answer the question. I've been really pleased with my Cryorig cooler, however their customer service department needs a bit of improvement in how to appropriately respond to customer inquiries.

PROS - It's great that there is a adapter plate that allows me to reuse the H7. Wish my Megahalems tower cooler did as well as it's performance is still up with Noctua premium coolers. It is a big PRO that they made updated adapters.CONS - The H7 is truly not a great cooler to install. After cooling performance, ease of mounting is second. This took me far to long after I couldn't get the arms to close down to accept AM4 hole layout. Even after install , the H7 still can turn. Just a bad designed cooler.If you can't get the stupid arms to close down to align with AM4 holes, use a flat head screw driver through the top of the cooler, find the hole on top that allows you to loosen the hinge screw. Only loosen this screw do not remove it or you will create more work to get it lined up. People don't stop with only the cooling performance, look how robust the mounting hardware is. Will you have to strain, juggle or push down hard to mount a cooler? Consider the damage you can do to your hardware if the install of the cooler is not ideal. Highly important to look over how the coolers install, you want something that is near effortless to remove and install. Megahalems tower cooler had a simple strong crossbar with two thumbscrews, easy as pie to set cooler on cpu and handstart the two screws. Why do companies like Cryorig make their adapters like this H7 garbage.

Cheap and simple. Allowed me to use my Cryorig H7 on a B450 motherboard for a Ryzen CPU.

Works as advertised. I was fairly upset that this was not originally included with my cooler when I purchased it, even though it said it should be. After several hours with Newegg and Cryorig, I just gave up and purchased it here. I do love my cooler and am very happy with it.
