Lasted 4 Years
I'd like a sturdy toilet seat that will last. Maybe 4 years seems like a long time, but I live alone and spend half my time at my GFs home. Seat broke around one bolt hole...unrepairable. plastic is too thin there. Disappointed as this seat performed well otherwise.

This is a visually pleasing seat. The slow-close mechanism seems to work well. It's comfortable for me. Of course your experience may vary.I was especially impressed with the silicone anti-twist gasket that goes under each hinge. It seems much more robust than any other gasket that I have seen before. The fastening system seems to be well-designed, but i am a little concerned that it may be prone to breakage because the plastic is thin where the nylon screws mate with the hinges. Time will tell.Installation was extremely easy - Because of the silicone gaskets, it was not necessary to torque the screws down more than modestly finger-tight. I did not need to use any tools during installation, not even a screwdriver.This is a good seat at a very reasonable price.

El plástico es grueso y muy resistente, solo quedó poco corto, como 2cms menos, no afecta en nada pero el anterior estaba Justo y se veía mejor. Vale la pena lo que cuesta, sin duda feliz con mi compra

A step up from the basic.
We just had the cheap basic seats before and these are a definite improvement. Doesn't slide around while sitting on it and more comfortable.
